Bred several litter of F1 hybrids,.. using Collies and Greyhounds as Sires and Dams,...and other than the Greyhound bitches producing larger litters,.. we have found very little genetic difference.....Facts are,.. with this particular hybridisation,.. although physicality is obviously of prime importance,. the most essential quality to aim for is,...TEMPERAMENT.....because if you ain't got that, and tractability in abundance,.. then really,...you have achieved nothing...9 points

The more I see of things like this , the more I realise that a lot of the conspiracy theory types( that i had pinned as nutters) have been right all along. The ruling classes see us as nothing more than cattle, that are here to be milked.6 points

Got out one day this week for a mooch, checked a few spots and nothing home, tried a place new to me on recommendation from the farmer. Steady walk to the place and all dogs marking well, looked promising. I dropped an older dog in that I've got on loan. 10 mins later he's baying away strong. Got a mark at .8, 1ft off breaking through and the mark changed. Opened out anyway and found they were big tubes. Let the dog work for another hour or so, he was getting pushed back and forth but eventually settles at roughly 2m and I believe he's at a stop end. Decided to start digging4 points

Non stop action all day. Floyd and his pup Luna never stopped. Flushed all types of game fur and feather and had plenty of action at vermin. Luna pup has made strides today, gone from showing interest and follow interesting scent to looking for, flushing and chasing. She hunted will real intent today for first time. By end of season she'll be primed to be a real rising star in season 2! Got a good mark and big rat for Floyd. Lurcher Cú had plenty of runs and marked a bush well that terriers flushed from. I expect over this season for Floyd and Luna to start to gell into a decent little bushing4 points

An ex Labour MP has just been on GBNEWS and said it’s unfair that people like Farage get Winter Fuel Allowance . Err…… Farage is 60 and doesn’t qualify for Winter Fuel Allowance !!! Farage has also said he doesn’t claim heating expenses for a second home. Looks like both Labour and Tory are terrified of the rise of Reform and will blatantly lie about them. Cheers.4 points

Well did I ever drop a bollock. No pics cause no evidence. In my last post, in the background was venison ready for the next batch of pasties. Nicely diced and ready. Now the lovely one says do not put the slow cooker on in the kitchen cause she don’t like stinking the place out. So, out to the garage I go and get the thing going. Return to kitchen and lo and behold a spaniel licking his lips. Little git had upwards of 1 kilo in a matter of seconds. Ah well. My loss. Jok.4 points

Got this made for the old boys 70 th birthday today. I thought the 'marching on together' was a nice reference to us in the family staying close and sticking together after losing my mum a while ago. Just had a slice, was ok but wish I'd have got some cream in!!3 points

Why doesn’t the government take over a Premier Inn or Travelodge, and MP’s who have to stay over in London could be put up in them ? Afrer all, they can do it for illegal immigrants! Do away with the second home travesty ! Cheers.3 points

It's the poor sod's I feel for who work in shops and retail that have to put up with junkie low life's thieving from shops on a daily basis. I went barmy with my youngest daughter when she worked in a well known baby shop for confronting a junkie shop lifter who pulled a Stanley knife out on her just glad she had the sense to back away and I breathed a sigh of relief when the shop shut down and she got another job.3 points

I think something worth looking at would be allowing someone not in government, not an MP or a member of the House of Lords, to be a Secretary of State or Minister of State. Such as ; Minister of Defence; a retired General or Admiral, some one with an actual working knowledge of the armed forces. Minister of Health; a retired doctor, surgeon or someone who has successfully ran an NHS Ttrust. Minister of Transport; someone who has successfully ran a transport or shipping company or a logistics company. They could have an MP or member of the House of Lords as a deputy.3 points

My missus has already put forward the menu, she wants leek and potato soup with Parmesan and garlic croutons, choice of chicken or beef, must come with creamed cabbage, the rest of the veg is up to me, then cake and custard, but has to be a choice between vanilla and lemon ( lol ) I’d of gone, chicken liver pate, venison, Bakewell tart, then some good cheese, but they are people of simple tastes2 points

Fair one, starter in my house would be scrambled eggs and smoked salmon breakfast then they gorge themselves on chocolate whilst I pour a scotch and cook dinner. Probably aim for a 2/3 o'clock lunch so they're coming down off sugar rush.2 points

We didn't add any , except what was in the sausages . It's was around 4kg of pheasant breast , 8 large chilli sausages , two onions , salt and pepper. Minced it all together , then made 250g burgers . It was just an experiment really , but they tasted absolutely fantastic. They were equal to any burgers made with beef or lamb that I've ever tasted. Mine went on a large crusty cob , with a bed of spinach , then topped with castello tickler, extra mature Devonshire cheddar, a large mushroom, and a dollop of garlic mayo.2 points
