Good luck with the pups. When you are working dogs in the way you do I think 11 is a good age. My dog is 11 now and he’s still doing alright. I just notice the next day he’s had it and needs to be rested a day or so. He’s getting clumsy and I suppose it’s a bit disheartening when he’s seeing dogs that he showed the ropes to out classing him. As long as they’ve had a good life then I think they are happy with chilling in the garden and a walk along the beach.5 points

Yeah indeed he was Ross,i can remember the day I collected him & Fife from big Stevie's like it was yesterday to be fair I've totally retired Boots now,at least as far as going on the mountains goes. I'm not sure if it's an age thing or since he went blind in one eye but I took him out a couple of weeks ago now & he just didn't want to be there for whatever reason? Obviously it's still dark when we head on up the mountains & whereas he was once eager & up front keen to get through the forestry & out on the tops he was trailing behind looking on edge & quite frightened4 points

A great picture trumps a thousand words🐿 Squirrel can be bland and begging for Bbq sauce or spices. Or ,get them after a good autumn on mushrooms( the squirrels) wild chestnuts and hazel nuts when they've been flavoured by nature. An Autumnal squirrel and bacon pie cooked by a friend's wife could have graced a top restaurant.3 points

Yeah he's got a few litters on the ground matey,he's bred some good, durable lamping big bags fillers along with numerous good ferreting dog's..I wish he'd had a few more pups on the ground to be honest,he was a very good dog & deserved more than he has in my opinion.3 points

The American national debt is about 35 trillion and there is over 100000 deaths from drug overdoses each year. There is widespread poverty and homelessness and over 10 million people have crossed the southern border in the passed 4 years. But the number 1 priority is Israel's security. Britian's national debt is about 2.5 trillion and ordinary British people are facing years of austerity. There is thousands off military aged men crossing the channel every year and the government won't stop the boats .3 points

The Japs now have a well functioning country with fantastic health care, strong borders, a love for their customs and traditions. Perhaps the ultimate winners and losers weren't who we thought they were2 points

We would all prefer a dog that 'tries' for everything and anything,...we don't wanna be wasting our time with a canine pal that ain't taking the hunting game seriously,...but,.. truth is,.. most dogs,.. not all, but the vast majority, of running dogs,. .will eventually throw in the towel,. .if worked regularly enough... .Everything and everybody ,.. can be forced to quit,..in the end2 points

It's bloody frustrating. But the truth of the matter is I would rather have a dog which picked its runs and caught decent bags over a dog that run anything but didn't catch much. Old saying is brains beats brawn.2 points

Surprised on the look north news report it said the fire brigade refused to rescue the dog saying it would alter the structure of the rock cliffs. Just hope some jumped up prick in authority doesn't try and get money out of the lads who rescued the dog for altering these rocks to rescue the dog.2 points

Too light and agile to trigger the plate , a bunch of wood mice will clear a trap of bait with glee. Even if the trap triggers they just escape through the holes . If you think it's slugs a dusting of salt or a strip of the adhesive copper tape used by gardeners will deter them. You don't say what you hope to catch, rats ,squirrels? Tougher baits or wrapping a nice chunky bait in fine mesh might help. Unless of course the culprit was Bertie Basset on an SAS- type raid to rescue his chums.2 points

And the powers that be said no more coal we will import shit coal from China and Russia.. It's absolutely crazy that our oaps are going cold this winter with all that coal below our feet..2 points

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.2 points

I will be happy when the Jews and Muslims have wiped each other completely off the face of this planet...then after that make a start on the politicians and money people that call the shots from behind the scenes ...if there's any room after that, then the mentally ill cnuts pushing the gender nonsense...get them all gone...then maybe we can all start living again.... instead of just f***ing existing to be milked like cattle2 points

This is very good watch about the attack on October 7th over a thousand killed the most shocking part for me was the young girl stripped in the back of pick up being driven about by the terrorists after being beaten half to death and the hundreds of people shot dead at the side of road, anyone that sympathises with those b*****ds after watching this needs to give their head a wobble1 point
