Cracking morning down here today frosty start. I was knackered after ferreting yesterday but such a nice morning picked the detector up and out across the farm and down by the river. Was having a few digs on the fore shore found a few fishing weights but it was a bit half hearted if I'm honest. Stoped and took in the view you cant buy it can you? Christ I do appreciate where I live. Cheers Arry8 points

I wouldnt have taken jigsaw to be a left winger, he hunts, shoots, likes his own people, cant stand the invaders etc, not a lefty in my book6 points

Yes would have been fair to raise money for the main people involved, and not just the foreigner. No one would have had any issue, if it went down that way.6 points

Disgraceful, a man who spent his life trying to protect people from these beasts and this is his reward !6 points

Sad reading the last 3 pages of this thread ,no wonder the UK will never rise up as one and stand together, bicker more than old women ,and kids in the playground, a woman and kids stabbed ,and bickering over who was first on scene ,by media fed shite !5 points

Sad ....when the Media are more than happy to twist the truth...and the people buy right into it5 points

Three guys were involved,Mr Donohoe the Brazilian gent, and a 17 year old French youth who works in Dublin, also a lady who shielded the children, all worthy individuals.5 points

I'm another Grinch that doesn't put them up until 24th and only then it's for the daughter and grandkids. It's become tradition for us to be driving round forestry with a chainsaw on the 24th with them all pointing out good trees and sending me over only to realise its 20 foot high when I get there5 points

Third week on the bounce at this farm on a Friday. Previously, I’d shot one on the first visit, then two last week and last night I’d just got onto the field when I spotted this fella mooching around. The Hornet flattened him and I was on the way home after two minutes!3 points

A tad savage Mchull. Who knows the facts as yet. The bloke in the photo laid out the knifeman out with his motorcycle helmet. There was a famous case in the UK of a mob that drove an alleged paedophile out of his house. Turned out he was a f****n paediatrician. The leader of the mob was dyslexic. Let's wait for the facts to emerge And calm down Mc.3 points

I have had people call me crackers when I say all this mass immigration to the UK and all these illegal migrants coming in on dingys especially low skilled migrants is to give an unlimited source of worker's to the likes of Amazon and other large companies that do business in the UK. It's all about the money imho that these multi national companies are making who don't give a shite about the problems it's causing as long as their profits keep rising.3 points

I was stationed out in the desert one time and there were, supprisingly, a few ex RN lads, mainly comms types. Anyhow one was a caricature of a typical cockney but a good lad. We we’re on leave at the same time and he phoned to see if he could come up to Newcastle and have a drink with me. I said of course and told him my local pub. I went in the night I was supposed to meet him and the barman told me some cockney spiv in a trench coat who looked like special branch had been in asking about me, but don’t worry, we said we never heard of you and f****d the c**t off ! Put him rig3 points

You’ve got to love the Irish! Once they’re stirred up, it’s a fecking downhill from there! The Europeans should remember this. If the RA turn their attentions fully on this topic all hell is gonna break loose.2 points

I do like Christmas but don't like the massive build up to early. It's become a commercial two or three months. Our small town has become a Mecca every Tuesday evening in December with stalls all up through the town. Was nice for the first few years. Then it drew crowds in from everywhere and you cant move shoulder to shoulder, people driving around at mental speed desperate for parking. Used to walk down to town and enjoy the evening too manic now. I love Christmas Day and put on a good dinner and drink too much. Wifey will treat our Lad in his forties and his wife like a couple of five2 points

I had a Landan foreman who was an excellent bloke. I can remember working a Sunday and it was a blazing hot day outside. Another lad said to me " f**k this, come on let's have a fag outside and get some sun" so off we went. We ended up sunbathing for a good two hours until clocking off time. Monday morning I was called into the Foreman's cabin. He began with " where the f**k were you yesterday ?" I just came clean and told him the truth..it was too nice a day to sweat in a factory. He just laughed and said to me "OK , you've been honest, but I ain't covering for you again son, next time you're2 points

I stopped using Amazon once I saw a documentary on the sweat shop. Ask yourself if you want your kids working in such a place I try hard to use small business, as for multi national firms I couldn't care less , to an extent there's a value to employment but if it's at the expense of employees or and society then I'll avoid it2 points

You wouldn’t believe what it looks like now mate, they levelled nearly all of it……it’s all industrial parks and stuff like that. The new A13 runs through the site and it really gives you a sense of how massive that factory was. We used to play mid week night cup games and stuff at fords Rush Green and Saturdays sometimes at the Basildon club, always liked playing there because the facilities were first class. Mate of mine who was our centre back has worked for them for nearly 40 years, he has done all sort of courses from refereeing to (in later life) weight watchers ! Lol2 points

Yes I met a lot of West Ham lads. They were good blokes. They were outspoken up front blokes with a sense of self worth. They all had similar views on race to you and gnasher. Lots of northern mill workers I worked with were brow beaten in comparison. The black lads at Fords kept to themselves and vice versa, although some of the black lads were into boxing and football same as we were. There was a lot of racist graffiti in the toilets. It was a bit like an American prison. The two groups by and large did not mix. You ever noticed how young southerners walk? It's a kind of jaunty si2 points

The more people in the country, even if only a small percentage are actually contributing , adds to GDP and “growth”. It may add to overall growth and GDP but reduces per capita GDP , so the working person is less well off but the government’s books look good. Its all smoke and mirrors, what’s wrong with static growth, no inflation and steady wages ? Immigration allows for lower wages, more tax income and bigger profits for employers. Cheers.2 points

“Caricature” of a typical cockney isn’t the same as typical cockney. I’ve met loads of cockneys I’ve gotten on very well with. Just like the Welsh lads , jocks, paddy’s and just about every other regional or national people I’ve met. Working in foreign lands is a great leveller and you learn a lot about people you depend on. Stereotypes arn’t for me. I take people as I find them. Cheers.2 points

Geordie police are still looking for a hooded man who pulled 2 sisters from a hen night into a white escort van. Part of the registration plate read NIG. The suspect who spoke in a Landan accent is also wanted on suspicion of voyeurism. It is believed his sexual deviancies include observing anal sex whether it be homosexual or heterosexual in nature Police intelligence suggest he may have fled to Ireland. There is unconfirmed evidence that he is an enthusiastic, if bombastic contributor to a sadistic blood sports site, consisting of a nomadic horticulturist and several middle age to eld2 points
