I think I’d be a bit pissed off about that too tbh .The hounds go where the fox is that’s a given but the huntsman should be thereabouts to take them off a tricky situation .In what realm do the hunt think they are allowed onto private property ,leave hounds behind to save his own skin and not go back and tidy up with a bag and bucket of water .I bet nobody apologised to the home owner or spoke to them about it . The hounds on the road wasn’t a problem at a time there were fewer cars on the roads .Nowadays it’s an rta waiting to happen .Either hunting tidies itself up radically or it will9 points

The idea of photo ID for voting is a good thing in my mind. Most of us have some form of photo ID now; driving license, passport, bus pass, etc. So a voter ID card for those without any other type of photo ID would be fine with me. The problem is "mission creep" once the voter ID is introduced there would then be some who who want it to be expanded and for you to carry it at all times and be produced when ordered by the likes of the police. Still not a bad idea, it could help in the tracking of illegal immigrants, etc, but I get the feeling it would be abused by the authorities5 points

That's going to be the crux of it... dogs jumping into gardens and killing a fox, running across roads and potentially causing accidents jusy doesn't look good, no matter how you argue it... Its tough to convince people who don't hunt that this is ok...4 points

They tried to digitalise the NHS & look how many millions went into that failed exercise - now they want to issue ID cards to every man & his dog, what a complete waste of time and money. Pillocks ought to get on with managing the issues we currently face not thinking of more hare brained schemes to cause more.4 points

After chatting with another TFL member last night about his latest doggy exploits l had an urge to charge up the lamp have a wander with my geriatric lurcher . A bit hypocritical really as the conversation touched on my intention to let rabbit numbers build up on my permission. Still , in truth l didn't think we'd actually see anything let alone get a run . A catch seemed even more unlikely! I don't think l've taken the dog out with the lamp for maybe eight years ,possibly more , and the old chap is probably somewhere either side of fourteen . As l suspected , there was3 points

43 down for 77 shots. About the norm for me. To be fair the blind was in the wrong field and the birds were coming from behind and it was very slow going. It was a rush job with no prep time. I was off the flight line by a good ways. That said the topsey turvey Valmet was a joy to shoot. Pulling off some good shots it felt natural and neutral to the eye and shoulder. Just up and shoot. Made for a nice change.3 points

Out last night over tge chicken farm .Was there mainly checking in the rat numbers and yep they are about in number .Took the .223 as farmer says there’s something been trying to dig into a shed . The very last shed on top the hill had two heat sources outside .One against the shed and another about 10 m away both gig enough to be of evil intent . Getting closer I could make out a fox walking from side to side watching the other heat source that was already head first under the shed .The shape looked very decidedly badger like .We’ve had the cull here for 5 years so to see one is now a t3 points

From what I gather large supermarkets buy a year in advance, so although it's proof that the UK has a vulnerability in it's food chain, I don't think it's relative to the Brexit debate, unless you wish to be continually reliant on EU produce. It has more to do with far left media/politics polarisation than a UK national crisis. Tomatoes and cucumbers, not only are they out of season, tomato farms especially during fuel/inflation cannot compete with warm climates for growing these two vegetables. I'm going for guerkins and tomato puree or jars/cans of tomatoes which are both readily available a3 points

That's it mate.. It just looked really sneaky as well, going in grabbing the fox, stuffing it up his coat, hiding behind the wall while cars went by... we all know the crack but it just doesn't look good... with urban spread true un inhibited free ground is rarer and rarer and the more the hunt comes in contact with private properties/home owners and all.tje cctv that goes with it the harder it will be to justify the practice...it matters not if we don't agree with the general public view, as we are a small minority in the grand scheme of things who still enjoy hunting...3 points

Terry it's three Chicken thighs I like them better than breast. Much cheaper and tend not to dry out so much. Try to put as much veg as I can in, Purple Sprouting (put in close to the end)is coming at the moment in the garden and a leek always goes well with Chicken mate. Another thing is Chicken stock goes in which I save in the freeze in Chinese takeaway containers, I aways boil up the Chicken carcass after a roast. Cheers Arry3 points
