Out this morning

Decided on Half day today,cut a few logs for an elderly neighbour,and then took the young Plummer bitch on her own check a few local spots,starting to travel and check if anythings home, hopefully we Land on something before season ends?

Was having some away one day and pushed my mate in one of those stew ponds and threw a load of pellet in, it looked like a scene from piranha he was screaming his head off and the water was boiling up like a jacuzzi ???

Hunting 30yrs and one of the things I've learned, the hard way, is the dog game is full of snakes and spoofers. I hunt alone or within a tiny circle and stay well away from most of the 'dog men'.

Back out on the road today had a return to the quarry were I have had a deer up in front the camera since November. Can already see without looking at the footage there has been no large predator involvement in the predation due to the fact the ribs are all in tact, ribs cut off cleanly along the spine is a good sign to look out for on carcasses and kills anyways will put some pics up if there are any decent ones but here’s my day today, surprising how many on here don’t appear to spend much time outside ??

Yes not always pure depends on the type of country and how wild the cattle are. those on small holdings dont like them to hard but in the mountains just the go for cattle that only see man every blue moon and dont want to leave their favourite spots.

I am quietly confident that if socks used a stud dog he will know it's strengths and weaknesses Sammy how much someone puts a value on there litter or who they go to is up to the breeder but those that can afford it at the time aren't always the best him homes work wise to go to I know lads skint but graft there dogs hard and are treated like family

Can't fault you mate!! 2.5 hr for me from here.. so doable in a day. Been out with the fell packs there and back in a day.. bloody long day mind! My sister lives in Penrith and knows the area pretty well and also what goes on over there. She says there's a little camp site at Dufton and that the village pubs sometimes has bands on so I'm thinking about combining the two and getting plastered after the High cup Nick walk and waking up hanging in my tent that I haven't brought yet!!? She's been up Scotland this last week.. done Ben Mcdui and Cairngorm and god knows what else!
