Just my own opinion , but Putin seems to have massively underestimated the opposition to his invasion. He hasn't been able to roll over Ukraine, and the resistance is massively bigger than expected. The sanctions are hurting far more economically than expected and socially. China is looking on and thinking " do we back our communist comrades, and risk sanctions, or stay out of it and continue getting rich selling consumer goods to the west ", they ain't stupid, sell to the rich west or support a skint Russia ? Is it possible to cut and paste the last few pages and put it on one of the kelpie/cattle dog threads?? My son and I had a "meet and greet" session at Exmoor Zoo last summer with the singing dogs. We had a great chat with the keeper who really knew her stuff and was even quoting recent dingo research that I'd been reading up on just before the holiday re how dingoes and singing dogs are related and how they were "introduced" into Australia much earlier than was previously thought. Fascinating stuff! But, as others have said, I wouldn't want to try rounding up sheep with a dingo!

Yes, time moves on, and at this juncture, I reckon we have reached a pinnacle as regards getting what we want, from the Wild Canids.. Our Sheepdogs are superb, our racing and coursing dogs are amazing, and even the diminutive dirt dawgs have been bred to go deep, if needed? and,.. feck me, even our working ferrets are top notch? The hunting life , as we know it in the UK, is destined to change,...and its a crying shame that just when the breeders finally created something really special,.. the laws of the land will dictate, that such phenomenally unique animals, can no longer be used...

One if my favorite things to do since I was a little kid was to go to the bait shop in town. Had to come into today because some crap happen d and my 100gal bait tank now has a ince if water in it so Ineed to get some water treatment and some extra odds and ends. I did a swap round of scopes last night in order to use my new Pard 007v so my two Hawke Airmax Compact 30 scopes are now on my Tikka .22lr and Sako Quad hmr as the bloody Pard doesn't like either my Hawke Varmint or MTC Mamba Lite scopes. I thought I could get away with using my Wildcat Panther .22 mod on the hmr but my god it was so noisy, a quick rumage in the drawers of the rfd and I took 5 assorted mods to test, the best was a .17 Wildcat Panther which had come in with a pile of stuff. £40 notes and I have a cracking mod and much better than £160. ? ? Whether the kelpie has dingo blood or not they were developed in the same harsh environment, only breeding the best equipped for this. The dingo is the optimal size and shape designed by nature and it doesn't surprise me that a domestic breed living and working here and not bred for looks at all would follow the wild dog appearance.
