I take my hat off the this guy.., 119 days to row solo across the Atlantic. The final push to make landfall was a 40 hour slog which in itself would have broken most men. Lad I worked with (also an ex-RM) was regularly posting about his progress. It looked every bit as gruelling as you’d expect. The mental strength and determination of this guy must be off the scale. Well done, just well done ? Former marine completes unsupported Atlantic row WWW.BBC.CO.UK Dave 'Dinger' Bell arrives on land in Cornwall after leaving New York 119 days...13 points

Few pics from this afternoons walk out, 6 an abit months old now. Showing a real willingness to hunt and use her nose . Was a lot of Fox scent along a gully bottom , an she hunted along well , was very keen an tracked along way. Also tracked a hare along way , witch I could see a fair old way ahead of us , slowly creeping from cover to cover. She followed the scent well, a showed a real willingness to work, was pleased with wat I saw this afternoon ? stock breaking been a piece of piss with her so far aswel. Had a few heart in the mouth moments as she does everything 100 mph full pelt6 points

I remember watching it. TFI was a staple of mine early nineties. I’m no expert but thought his knob was average.., at best. Certainly no porn star. S’pose it depends on your own personal reference point ??5 points

My point exactly mate. I’ve nothing but contempt for this mentality. And I know you blame the government for it, which I understand, but we all make a decision, and too many a choosing to behave like c**ts.5 points

An earlie start today as the sun came up we were on the warrens it was action from the start first Warren produced 4 then the next 11, all bolting in 2s then a shallow dig, the next two warrens produced 16 so before 9;30 I was on 31, Iv never known rabbits bolt in pairs as much as today, we carried on until just after dinner when the temp had slowly increased and the flys had started to become a pest we had 82 between the 3 of us, I tryed one of the EZgutters today and was impressed with it, perfect to have in your pocket cheers Neil B4 points

Is there actually a shortage or is it just a case of the 90% of the population that never put more than a tenner in now panicking and filling their tanks, creating a very short term demand spike?4 points

You need to add something bourgeois, like caviar or venison for a politically balanced meal.3 points

We do and that was very articulate but my point is much more simple, people are being c**ts, because they are c**ts. Ive elected tories, yet I don’t have a shed full of Jerry cans or a toilet full of bog roll and I won’t be caught fighting over the last bag of pasta! We should be making notes now for in the event of a proper crisis we know who to shoot on day one.3 points

Isn't it part of the same puzzle though? Everyone is political to a point. We all view the world through our individual lenses and make our choices accordingly. We either engage or we don't and our choices are reflected at the governance level. Where we are right now is a multi-generational reflection of character and moral substance exercised by the majority. Essentially, we get the government we deserve.3 points

Britain is the richest 3rd world nation in the world, we spent 70 years importing the 3rd world and we got it ! A country devoid of the principals, shared identity, sense of nation and bonds of blood that once made us the greatest country on the face of the earth. Now we are like some dog eat dog tin pot African state, all looking to be savage to each other for the last bowl of rice. We are a total f***ing embarrassment sometimes to ourselves. I have always been proud as punch to be an Englishman but I ain’t proud of this shit…..not just this particular thing but the whole f*3 points

Lad I dig with had a Russell dog fitted a few times on him. We actually dug to the dog one day thinking he was on but he was having a seizure. Then one of my own began taking them also. None were bred from and both eventually were PTS for the right reasons for the animal and our own peace of mind.3 points

This truck driver is spot on........ So, you are running out of food on the shelves, fuel in the garages, you can’t buy things you need, because the shops can’t get their supplies. Why is that? A shortage of goods? No A shortage of money? No A shortage of drivers to deliver the goods? Well, sort of. There isn’t actually a shortage of drivers, what we have, is a shortage of people who can drive, that are willing to drive any more. You might wonder why that is. I can’t answer for all drivers, but I can give you the reason I no longer drive. Driving was something I always y3 points

Not sure it was balls mate, he was out boxed...just didn't have the answers to it... earlier in the thread Gnash and Billy were talking about mentally draining your opponent...you could see it happening round after round .... brilliant display from Usyk...really enjoyed watching him box..2 points
