I think that " shock " type of comedy must be very hard to get a laugh from after about 5 minutes listening to it.....i always liked good joke tellers i thought Mike Reid was brilliant years ago......i also like Peter Kay and Micky Flanagan types who just talk about life in a humourous way....havent seen him for a long time but Jasper Carrot was another funny fella......think blue comedians have had their day now though.

I don't know if you were on here when a very interesting bloke called " Mackem" was posting. He spent a bit of time wandering around Central Asia, the Khyber Pass, etc. Had some good tales. Ive worked with a few Pashtuns, Bukharis, bought a bit of Russian kit off Dhagastanis and Chechnyans, but there's to many experts on Middle East and Central Asian politics on here for me to cross verbal swords with ? Yes mate,know quite a few places with them and these.( Local lakes are full of em)..I've emptied a few ponds over the yrs for folks and put them in a few different farm/quarry ponds...used to buy in ghost carp at 3/4" long,grow them on in 6ft tanks and drop them in various different places...one fish I grew on is around 25/26 lb in weight now.....got to net a club pond next month and will be removing everything under 10lb....the carp will be moved to another pool,roach ,perch,Rudd,bream,tench are going into a stretch of river we have on some MOD land,it's not very wide but runs 10/14 ft in

I’m the same, game bird shooting doesn’t interest me at all, I might have a go now and then on one of the good drives, or if I haven’t got a guest on that day, I mainly give my shoot days away, sometimes for other shooting ( foxes, deer, rabbits) in different places and sometimes just because I’m a bloody nice chap ?

Birds have been in a couple of days now and have settled well, they are very quiet and as we know, quiet birds are happy birds, with them being a little bit older and going in a little later they can fly a short distance so there was a few outside the pen, which did walk back in without any problems, looking at the way they are now and if the weather stays the way it is I think I’ll be lifting the wire this time next week and setting them to wood, but we’ll see what state these little sh*t machines make of the pens over the next few days
