  3. Why try to re-invent the wheel ? If someone wants a dog that's bigger than a whippet, smaller than a greyhound, has insane speed and would be fine for a couple of runs on hares , get a non-ped ! Theyve been bred best to best, whippet/greyhounds, for 60 years or more. Cheers.

  8. I think that was official the moment it happened, just like 99% of all shootings in London. The fact that the prime minister didn't instantly appear on the steps of downing Street saying this had caused shame to us all and ordering an inquiry also sort of hinted at this being a tribal shooting

  12. Mines a disgrace at the minute. As the avairy I was getting has fallen through I now have a concrete pad 20'x8' to build a new work shop /bird room. Going to keep this one nice and tidy though. Problem is time is at an essence, timber prices have gone through the roof and shed builders are booked up for 5 months... So think yourself lucky, your upto the racking stage.... On the plus side I've just been given these old tools

  13. Closest thing I have to a tool shed is my car port and my gun room. I'm not foot at being super organized in a traditional sense but I think my little set up works. Basically every has either it's own general area or container. Rods go on the wall as matched pairs of possible heavy metal working stuff stays by the welding table. Lead melting stuff has it's corner ,trap cleaning suff has its side of the wall, trapping gear I may just need to grab ( drags , completed snares ,snare supports staked drivers ,cable extension cable stakes( all have their place on a rack. I have 5gal buckets with a o

  15. Sounds like you're headed the right way if working on recall and stock breaking. If possible also break to ferrets because that's probably the best way to get the dog working with you. Have to get the stock breaking solid because being a saluki he will end up chasing something into the next county and if not trustworthy with sheep and far away from his handler....

  23. Lots of fun can be had from a shed shelf. Paint it.. measure it now and again..if you really loved the shelf..you could screw coffee jar lids underneath the shelf and screw the coffee jar to said lid..but that is quite advanced shelf technology...and not to be attempted by beginners...

  31. You’re either a member on here having a good laugh and keeping us entertained for the summer, or you’re a very strange human being. My guess is that it’s the former, and the closest thing you’ve come to a ‘bow line’, is the row of empty strong bow cans lined up in front of you.

  34. ?Yep, its a difficult one , that's for sure? There is never a guarantee, that sold or gifted pups will have a long and happy life... Personally, I feel that high-powered, performance dogs and other, serious minded tykes, are best placed in hands that know how to handle them....or problems can occur... I remember once seeing a real, forward-looking Collie dog ..He was bred from good, strong eyed hill workers and had ended up on a big housing estate. The folk had been touring around the Welsh hills and had seen a hand-written sign advertising, 'Beautiful Border Collie Pups for Sal
