  8. I'm quite pleased with how it is going now. Boris is sticking to a plan and cracks are appearing in the other side. It reminds me of the 'Yes Prime Minister' sketch where Sir Humphrey explains how the British Diplomats set the German off against the French, the Spanish against the Italians......... That is just how it will pan out except it will be car makers against fishermen, fruit and veg' growers against fridge makers............ The language is helping too. For too long the EU have been allowed to peddle the notion that the UK wants its penny and the bun when it is actually the othe

  9. Because that’s what you did mate......same as why throw single mums in to the mother and baby homes then throw a 1000 unaccounted for infants into the sewage pit like they did in Tuam ! Different times. Look, I’m the most howling b*****d there is about most things but I just don’t rank this up there at all. You don’t like queers, I get it, it’s fine......I’m not exactly walking about in leather shorts myself but I still don’t believe that queer couples who want to give a child a loving home are doing it out of some twisted sexual desire. They just ain’t........ An

  14. So after I put in the 'wanted' section I was after a.410 on another forum. I had plenty of a replies with advice for my 10yr olds new gun. After a message from 'stoat' we arranged to meet up and I bought his investarm off him in 28g. My lad was over the moon with it when he got home after school as he had no clue he was getting a new (to him) gun. Here are a couple of pictures from out in field

  18. I know two gay blokes who have kids, their own kids. They were born when it was still against the law and you just went and got married....which is what they did. However, they couldn’t live the lie and divorced but they have great relationships with their grown up kids. The kids are normal heterosexual adults, well educated......one of them is a lawyer and she takes her dad away on holidays all the time because she likes spending time with him. All married etc etc To suggest that a gay couple who want to take care of a little orphan boy or girl are doing it with some

  30. I don't seem to be much of a fan of gays but I like to think I'm fairly objective and able to separate my prejudices, perhaps, from my rational thinking. Do you think exposure to homosexuality during childhood is going to do anything other than make you accepting of it? I mean, assuming an otherwise healthy upbringing and exposure to the diversity of life/society, ie heterosexual relationships? I can see it being a problem if the parents had some chip on their shoulder and made heterosexuality out to be wrong or whatever but otherwise?

You will press the wrong button and slip some bullshit charity a fiver. Tbf, we should bring back the death penalty. Any and all terrorist should instantly be put to death on a guilty verdict. No more terrorist, no more early release dates, no more footing the bill to follow the cnuts around.

The kids came from a heterosexual family, the dad was a druggy, violent, in and out of prison and wasn’t allowed to know where the kids were. Mother was another f***ing junkie, hatched up with this total f***ing oxygen thief. It was a boy of 6 and a girl of 8, she had taken care of her little brother ever since she was able. When they came into care, they were filthy and one of the thing that we hea

  41. Just want to add, in an ideal world you would want every child placed with a loving heterosexual couple... I too believe this is the best environment for a child...but if there arent enough couples to children then surely it's better to be placed with a gay couple who will offer the support a kid needs?

  42. Called peat in Scotland.., turf is something else (turf) ? In more recent years I’d guess it was only cut on the islands, where it was more difficult/expensive to buy coal. Not sure of the legality of cutting it now but I know it’s frowned upon now as it’s a niche ecosystem and captures carbon etc. etc. Just as well our ancestors didn’t know that years ago or they’d have froze to death. https://youtu.be/sfzH_WTLulM
