With rabbits being very thin on the ground round here and not much action with the ferrets over the winter it was time to bag a few woodies with the S410. Put a few decoys out in the field to entice them in towards the oak tree. Lay on my back looking up at the tree and not bothering to watch the decoys as I knew they would come into the tree rather than land on the ground. Took a few shots at a dead branch to work out the holdunder and then the action started. A good number of woodies came in and over a period of three hours I managed six shots and bagged five. That's true but there was loads of other crops available at the time and it was all exported to Britain. Alls Ireland was left with was the spud and when that got blight the country starved. Very, very hard decision out of the box HW110k great mag , very quiet , nice weight , nice in the shoulder , nice feel to stock , has a regulator and very accurate BSA ultra , very accurate , needs a silencer , mag is just ok , nice weight , synthetic stock just ok , no reg , low shot count but these guns can be tuned and regs fitted . HW silencer is perfect or you can have a shroud/silencer made , which is just as quiet as a hw mod . Once this is all done you will have a gun which will match any top price gun pellet for pellet even your crap 2k daystates .
