  1. An eventful week for the lads this week at #Invermark... Patterdale Terrier, Charlie, disappeared down a hole at work, during fox control and luckily had his tracking collar on so was easy to locate. 7 #Gamekeepers over 3 days, a total of 72 hours and under 12.5ft of solid rock reunited Charlie with his owner this afternoon at 4pm. A massive thank you to R K Services in Montrose for kindly loaning a rock breaker to help with the epic rescue mission, that was almost called to an end this morning. The breaker got them through the final 3ft of rock, where the lads tho

  6. That dog has been at the vets four times since Monday afternoon. She was give electrolytes by the vet plus pain killers. Why the hell would i give the dog meds when the vet gave them to me already to give to her. I only put this up to warn others of how dangerous meds left laying around can be. And yes it was my own stupidy and my fault that this happened. No one else. Also theirs a few people on here who me and know that I take the up most care of my dogs. It was a stupid and unforgivable thing to happen. But it did. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else and peopl

  7. Everything done now, she`s ready for zeroing in. I was unable to use a napier pull through to clean the barrel before her zero. I didn`t want to force anything so I rang the RFD. They said to use the felt pellets if that was the case but I would still get a very fine zero eventually without, as the rifle needs to bed in. I`ll get the felt cleaning pellets I think. Anyway here she is in daylight. Forgive the weeds, brickwork etc, etc.

  12. So, we were all black to start with......course we were, how obvious it all seems! Im sure it’s all very scientific and not in the least bit connected to the constant “Black Brilliant /white shit” narrative we see constantly played out the last 10 years or so! Another bit of propaganda they can shove right up their arse as far as I’m concerned !. As an aside, anyone seen the media falling over themselves, running at the chops about that new “Black Panther” film?.......it makes your f***ing skin crawl and if they wrote the same narrative but replaced it with white folks someone

  14. It is a sad fact that for some their season is only starting. But for a sportsman the season is near over and I know of some who've already stopped but after the season there are call outs which have to be done. Personally I could never understand why anyone would dig cubs for sport ? Especially when their eyes are open and they're mobile it has to be one of the most frustrating jobs to make sure you accounted for them all. A pain in the ass IMO.

  19. 31 times he was hit by bricks ,they kicked him in the head dozens of times amd beat him with sticks then laid him on a railway so a train would chop him in half, facts we know and if that ain't bad enough the other things they did to him are to bad to report..Ffs beyond believing how evil these kids were and there parents must carry part the blame as all my lads when they were ten knew sodding right from wrong...

Twas a common thing to see a little sibling being dragged around by a bigger brother or sister years ago,i know i was by my big sister or brother when i was little and my big brother would have me and my little brother in tears all the time as he didn't want us with him. That's why i recon some didn't stop them and it sort of took such a thing to happen to open folks eyes.I cried when i watched it and ain't ashamed of saying so and to this day i feel so fecking helpless for that little lad and his parents,i'm the dad of 5 lads,3 my own,2 step lads and i love them all just the same but one of th

Every normal human with a soul/ passion/ feeling , knows the line you never x in life , every one of us have lost our temper , and lashed out , i deff have and i know put in a bad situation , i would use a weapon knife /gun , but i dont x that line , and its one thing in life i could never do is hurt a child , ok a adult but never a child . these

  33. I can tell you what spring rifle does perform best in .177.... The Walther lgv for sure, the thing with the 50/99 although a light rifle all the recoil (what there is of it) goes straight back rather than flip upwards like a 95, hence the 95 greatly benefiting from some weight at the muzzle , the 50/99 is a great little rifle to tune, I have done a few, but they are hard to get up to 12 fpe in .177 even though I am not a .22 fan at 12fpe even I have to admit that they do perform well in .22 and can be made very soft and smooth to shoot, I would like another crack at a .177 this time installin

Cubs are shitty work,a pain for any dog but if were to say to any of the keepers i know,"no mate sorry my season has ended" then i know i'd be doing feck all on those shoots next year.Same as letting anything go when the keepers are with us,not a chance and iv'e pushed my luck before now just saying "i wish we could move them like we could before the ban" as feck being stopped by the old bill with a fox in a box and terriers and spades in the motor these days.I have 3 shoots i'm just not allowed on during pop pop season although we'd get a few extra foxes from the earths but the keepers are ju
