My boy is 16 now. And 1 16th beddy, the rest whippet. In his day he was dynamite. Once when lamping i had 5 rabbits in hand still alive because i didn't have to time to neck them as he caught them and zoomed off after another one. He wasn't really fast enough for hares or big enough for deer but he was terrific on rabbits which is what he was for. He was happy to dive into gorse bushes to get to a rabbit (hence the ear), good jumper, put his heart into everything. This pic is him chasing a jack rabbit in California5 points

Got a bitch here thats half cane corso; with me doing lots of nights the missus wanted a dog around for when I was out. From about 5 months old she would naturally gaurd. She's perfect around the kids, spaniel and stock. Shes 26tts and about 110lbs so looks the part; when the missus walks her she will always put herself between her and strangers until shes told 'off or walk on' and then will do so. If we're at beach/ up the woods and the kids wonder off to play she will follow them whilst keeping an eye on us aswell. Not a dog I wanted or would choose but she certainly fits the bi4 points

Don't get me wrong I don't want this country being flooded by f**k knows who and some people will think that's rich as my bird is black but her parents came over as kids with her gr parents who came here from British colonies to work. Her father is still on the railway aged 72.Her and her sisters all have excellent careers.I don't mind anyone who's willing to work and pay into the system and embrace british ways. And to act like crime, robberies and drugs have only started happening since foreigners have arrived ilike some on here would have you believe is f**king ridiculous.Im surprised nobody's4 points

It's a pretty simple setup.. they get unlimited hay, commercial rabbit pellets and I throw a bit of forage in daily.. they have old dog beds and other stuff to nest underneath and straw bedding. 2 bucks that i alternate and 5 does. I'm adding a outdoor area in the near future and that will be electric poultry netting for days I'm home.. you have to be careful about weaning enteritis as too much fresh grass can kill rabbit kits if they haven't been slowly introduced to it first There is risks with hay and straw that it may introduce myxy or rvhd but I've been lucky so far4 points

The north-east for some reason has loads of placka-pikeys,I knew one who grew a mullet, bought a horse and went to appleby annually, his mam lived in a council house on ford estate, his dad was a Pakistani student from Newcastle, but I suppose he was from traveller stock as his dad travelled back to Karachi and was never seen again.3 points

I hear you loud and clear mate, I honestly do. Prison has never been a serious deterrent to career criminals, it’s always just been a kind of occupational hazard. But we are not talking about career criminals here, we are talking about something else (imho)…..we are talking about a mindset and a culture of depravity on a scale that hasn’t been seen before. Make no mistake, someone who is happy to stab you to death for your phone isn’t a career criminal….no, they are something else entirely. Lad like us don’t understand that mentality and, again imho, we don’t understand how3 points

A good guard dog is worth it's weight in gold, firstly it's a great deterrent, secondly it gives you warning and thirdly the peace of mind. Only the most desperate and sinister criminals would knowingly break in to a house when there's a snarling bundle of teeth waiting at the other side3 points

Had a bit of a accident a few weeks ago.. I shoot with a relaxed grip and a tube snapped bringing the catty outa my hand hitting me flush in the eye. I'm left with a scar on my lense ( which will heal in time). So I decided to shoot light bands n ammo to regain form and confidence ( with a lanyard n shooting glasses). I'm quite amazed at what 7mm steel will do with a bit of practice. The rabbit was 20 mtrs and hit in the high neck/bottom of the skull.3 points

Always been a loveable wrong un, honest to god you would have never have known he was on drugs, good looking kid with healthy looking skin. He was a functional addict, he woked doing concrete repairs with his family, just very prone to going off the rails. He's off a Welsh family that moved up here in the 50's, think that explains it. I haven't even looked at inputs vs outputs tbvh but I should start tracking them.. I have been experimenting with a breeding experiment for colour for a while and it didn't yield the result I aimed for but it did give me some unusual colours.. lilac for instance and I have only just got the size back to something decent after 4 generations2 points

Three quarter whippet (Mike Brown & Oakbark stuff) quarter beddy. Cracking little dog, brilliant nose, great prey drive, very robust and up for anything. As a younger dog he was difficult to control when he was 'hot' but has calmed down as he's gotten older. Would have another in a heartbeat!2 points
