Alabama has the most fish species of anywhere in North America. Some are endemic to Alabama. One of these species is the Warrior Bass.It only lives in a few creeks in the Sipsey Wilderness.I wanted to catch some before they went extinct.I found a thesis studying these fish from Auburn University and they listed which creeks they found these fish.I spent the last 2 days exploring those creeks.Had a great time.20 points

Out for food this evening with a couple of friends, food was absolutely superb, I went for a toasted crostini with black pudding, bacon and poached egg for starters ( forgot to take a picture, it would make an amazing breakfast) and then sea bass, crispy new potatoes and a leek fondue, 4 of us, including drinks 160 quid, absolute bargain given the standard of the food5 points

Been binge watching Clay Hayes. Just watched Elk Camp. We're he was in Alaska for 30 days with an elk tag to bag an elk. Living in a canvas tent with his wife and 2 kids for 30 days and the dogs. His Mrs had to do so much schooling with the kids each day and all the camp fire cooking food prep washing clothes ect. Must be awesome out there to have so much freedom to be able to do such things. To freely and lawfully hunt without Joe public , keepers, farmers and dibble on your case, also to be able to camp in true wilderness miles and miles from anywhere with out seeing a soul. On our own littl4 points

Is there any data to back up the fittest and healthy monster hares are those that get run at regular ? Lol or are the fittest healthy hares those that are living on land that have fewer predators inc the kill em bin acme purpose bred machines ? 5 mins for an animal that dosnt get a big bowl of protein rich food after its workout.? Is the monster the hare that has never been ran against and managed a Lucky escape then becomes the weak hare the following week it’s run , after it gets chopped ? Any data supplied will be good reg the above , no bullshite fantasy plz lol3 points

Pretty much all the ones iv'e known have shown guarding, looking after the owner and his family traits, there not really a defensive nervy type dog,in fact a very forward dog /But you do have to get on top of the guarding bit as they live to guard you and without it it could become a issue, i personaly like a dog a stranger couldn't get hold of and a dog who'll stand in front of you should you ever need it to..3 points

Was intending to go out in dark in a ground hide and wait for 1st light to try and do some photography. But had curtains shut and got engrossed on YouTube ffs. So ended up going to same spot at daybreak with dog and catty for a mooch and do a bit tracking. Ended up dropping a woodie. Bought a little monocular to pair with my thermal . Just more compact than my binos.3 points

The best deer for sport and eating, easy prey on the normal arable but put them on flooded water meadows and your'll see why they have the word "water" in their names mate. They skim across it when the dogs do what all 4 legs do in water they go into slow motion and have to plough through it, many a time iv'e heard lads say "that's dead" and a few seconds later there's yards gained and chuck in a dyke a few reeds and turn like a hare can do and away it's gone. Me and a pal a few years back were hitting them quite hard and were taking 3 figure numbers each season and my acd bitch had probebly3 points

I don't particularly like the over the top showboating of whitttaker . I don't mind a bit of showing off and arrogance but the stupid dancing and no look punches against much weaker opponents doesn't sit right with me . But it serves its ends I suppose it gets people talking about him.2 points

Used to go out with an ole fella when I was younger, he was a twitcher an took me a load a cool spots, but we went up to a Forrest blocks up the back end of measteg an watched night jars regular, best time was as it was gettin dark, an he would wave a white hanky an they would come in real close whizzingpast is thinking it was another nightjar. Funny noise they make, like a whirring machine or summat, hard to describe, amazing to see tho2 points

“A leopard never changes its spots . “ In the industry I work in , professional and personal integrity counts for such a lot it’s almost impossible to understate . once you do something that undermines this , it’s nigh on impossible to regain . I would say that 90% of the issues I deal with are caused by 10% of the people.2 points
