Sorry for my ignorance but I,m missing your point there mate are you suggesting girls don’t pay for coke by turning tricks or that coke doesn’t turn people into total pricks as both statements are 100% true and my sheltered life has witnessed both ???5 points

Well my Birthday tomorrow and my ferreting/fishing mate came around with a big cock crab just under 2kg. After cooking it and picking it ended up with 390grams of white meat and just shy of 200grams of brown meat. As I had a Crab salad yesterday at Beesand I will freeze the round pot of white. Can feel a sandwich coming on mind. Cheers Arry5 points

The partner is crucial, most people can’t comprehend true wilderness 50-100 km from your nearest neighbour, there’s no WiFi,couple of feet of snow outside, don’t forget the teabags and milk when you make the 200km round trip to the store.4 points

The general opinion across boxing forums at the times of the result were absolute shock at the split decision . a lad I know pretty well refs at a decent British level , he’s often on Lower cards in fights . He pretty much called it as a split decision with the words “if they call it true, the fury’s will go home in a huff” the idea that fury won any judges card is a shocking indication on the sport imho , it was as clear as day he lost fair and square . Put simply fury was set up to win , round 9 knocked that into a cocked hat, the cards were cooked , refs putting Tyson 10 9 in an3 points

These threads usually get around to the lack of quality working Bedlington terriers available to produce quality lurchers. Was there ever any quality working Bedlingtons available? I've had the pleasure of seeing a few Bedlington x whippets work. Never owned 1, had a good friend who kept them and even allowed me to borrow the ones he owned on occasion. Great rabbiting dogs but none bred from the mythical working Bedlington. The sires of the little lurchers were modern KC stuff. Dogs too big to work as a terrier and bitches a bit too sleight for regular work to ground even if they had the3 points

Great great grandfathers younger brother. Killed in the last month of the war. The regiment was on its way out of the line when they fell in to reinforce another action at short notice loosing 6 men. Shortly afterwards they left the line and didn't see action again in the war. So near yet so far. We believe from family research that the grave would never have received a family visitor before.3 points

A lad at the allotments put a sign up “Fresh eggs for sale” and the council were there the next day and made him take the sign down and threatened to throw him off the allotment if he was caught selling eggs. I thought about setting up a table in my front garden for my grandson to sell fresh hen, duck and quail eggs. He would get a bit of pocket money, learn at an early age about working for a living, people would get cheap fresh eggs, everyone a winner, but I was told it may need a street traders license so gave up the idea. Cheers.2 points

Their is a Roma Slovak woman who must be late 60s who sits in Rotherham every day with tubes coming out of each nostril selling the big issue and when she's shouting big issue it sounds like big tissues. When I walk past her she says hello darling big issue I just say f**k off. Her and her family caused all sorts of problems before they were evicted from a rented property on the estate I live. The country's they came from it must have been a godsend when this country and it's idiotic politicians welcomed them hear under the freedom of movement when we were in the EU as her and her family have2 points

Good question , mate ! They were/are around the same height and weight, the older bitch was 29” and 75lb, the new bitch has levelled out at just over 28” and 71lb. The older bitch matured much more quickly, killing daytime hare regularly at one year old, the new bitch was slower to mature. Id say the new bitch is slightly faster, strangely, as she’s out of a coursing bred greyhound, and a fraction sharper on the turn, but the older bitch seemed to have more stamina. Possibly the opposite to what their breeding would suggest. BUT; they both are/were a joy to watch in full fl2 points

Down on the coast today Beesands. Beautiful day slight on shore breeze. Went for a meal at the Britannia shack on the beach. Crab salad for me. The Wife had Goujons. Couldn't believe it after coming out of the Shack looked up and there was a Red Kite only about 100 foot up only the second one I've seen in Devon. Cheers Arry2 points
