I stay in the marina as I still work and need a base at the moment, I get what you are saying but at the moment it works we have good neighbours that look out for each other and no bad apples, I,m retiring this year and will be getting a motor home as well so will be away for much of the year in future and it’s quite nice knowing all your stuff is safe and being looked after plus it’s easy enough on the weekend to untie the house and go down stream for a few days of solitude, first barby of the year last night I8 points

Had a unplanned last minute camp on Kinder last night at the Woolpacks area. Really bloody hard walk up with the big pack on. Got asked by buss full of Chinese looking young people how far back to Edale and which way to get there! Told them exactly 2.8 miles as i was tracking my route out from there and pointed them in the right direction. Found a nice little spot overlooking Jacobs ladder. Sun came out for the last half hour before disappearing and them the temperature plummeted big time. Cracking morning though listening to the Cerlews and a Cookoo. Had a Kestral buzzing around me too. Packe8 points

Welp...seems like y'all have starved them out . Might be time to start again . That being said I see the same thing being repeated on about every forum I'm on...do t know what's with people I get suggestions lil friendly banter but ugh some of the " duck hunters" as we call them ( because they make it their life mission to shoot down everyone's ideas and the like ). Honestly found out if you just tell them how your not gonna respond to their bs anymore after being polite they usually get so infuriated they just go f**k off after you not responding ..Usually.... Having a few beers with 2 ex royal marines. One nicknamed the mad monk and one who also did two terms in the foreign legion. Obviously they both highly respect how tough I am and my drinking abilities. They can't get enough of my stories about how I 'nearly' joined up4 points

I was invited to do a talk on pest control for the young farmers and I really enjoyed it....they all got involved asked good questions, I was there hours. Our local hunt has done a barn up as a meeting room full of hunting pictures and they regularly host young farmers visits. I think one group of YF's now use it as a regular meeting venue. Still very farming orientated the local groups I think.4 points

I seem to remember it more the older I get mate. Though in all honesty my favourite place on the WMC day trips in the 6 week school holidays was always Bridlington were a gang of us all junior school age would make our way to the harbour and buy the orange coloured crab lines and some bait to fish off the harbour wall then when we got fed up went around the little shops and most of us bought pocket knives of some description then of course it was off to the arcades to spend what was left of the money that came in the little brown envelope that one of the clubs committee man had given us all on3 points

A better walk this morning regarding not seeing loads of rubbish and what a grand morning it is. I came across this shrine off the beaten track to a lad in his 30s who passed away a few years back one of the pics is him posing with a carp he had caught it made me realise as I walked away despite all the shite the country and the world's in its great to be alive and enjoying a walk in the British countryside.3 points

Blackpool,Whitley bay or Scarborough for us,but living on the coast I didn’t really appreciate them as much as I should have. The world has changed massively since we were kids,I remember going to Durham on a school trip, about 12 miles,it seemed like the other side of the planet.Kids today are far more global animals.2 points

Well that old couple or that lone woman needs to start voting for people who would do something about it. They need to stop using the paki shop, taxis, Turkish barbers, car washes etc and telling their family and friends to stop as well.2 points

Some one sent me this video. Blackpool is one of them places I will probably never go to again in my life though I have happy memories of the place as a kid as it used to be a popular destination for the working man's club trips once a year were all us kids would receive a small brown envelope and pop and crisps halfway through the journey to the holiday destination. Can't seem to upload the video it's taken by Lee Anderson as he takes a walk through the backstreets of Blackpool.2 points

To be honest, I had a cocktail or two to celebrate Newcastles victory over Burnley and let my, usually, impeccable spelling slip ! But I’m happy in the knowledge that one of my acolytes would leap in to correct me . Namasay, Salam Alaykum, Cheers. (please select your own salutation, I’m an equal opportunities smarmy git).2 points

I’m sure the ethnics are feeling pretty good about being elevated to levels in a society that isn’t ultimately their own, amongst those ethnics will be many, many nice decent people…..and if I was them I’d be very vocal about what’s happening to the indigenous British and European man because if a storm breaks, just like Germany, everyone will get swept away in the flood. There won’t be time or space or sympathy to sort the wheat from the chaff, the blood will be the enemy and they will all have to go……you see here even on this thread nice, decent family men type lads who are advocating f2 points

It's a bank holiday weekend wolfie.. Lots off here have probably gone to Rhyl to spend the weekend in a flea ridden damp infested caravan. And about this time of night will be singing karma chameleon by culture club on the karaoke whilst intoxicated on 8 to 10 pints of mild bitter whilst sporting there brand new £12 market bought shell suits and puffing away on cheap £5 under the counter knock off fags between songs,2 points

I'm thinking that for a bit of fun in the garden. I was wondering if you can shoot the same as aiming with a catty ie anchor points. But am sure the frame widths are bigger than what I normally shoot, so would imagine have to start from scratch with a slingbow and different anchor points . Am tempted for 65 quid to be honest.1 point
