Another of Maurice, tracked this and put it on the deck single handed in the middle of a field without the aid of fence or ditch, we got there it saw us panicked and full of adrenaline it managed to get back up to its feet, he sat it down again within 10 yards, he made it look easy but its far from an easy task for a 70lb dog to control a 15 stone buck. A long time ago but it brings back good memories I think he was about 3 at the time.14 points

I've been at the pit myself... we got the wife's sister stopping over ,we was supposed to be having a shin of beef joint but the wife fukt the order dates up so I had to run into town first thing this morning for a last minute stand in ,picked up a nice rib of beef and it turned out to be a happy mistake, the best bit of beef I've had for a while, smoked for nearly 5 hours at 80°c and reverse seared, I didn't even get the money shot I was so excited8 points

This bitch was 1/4 beddy, sire was a first cross from Heartbreak Fell kennel; dam was a mix of whippet/deerhound/greyhound. A bit small at 23” but a heart like a lion ! Sometimes a fox like this big ‘un became a bit of a battle, but she never let me down. Cheets.7 points

Finished work last night and although cold and horrible conditions later in the week is to be a right off . Grabbed the pup and took off.. her 1st rabbit was terrific in and out off rough terrain breaking small parts off green and seeing a pup adjust made me smile. Even knocked in a retrieve back.7 points

We just had a little drive around after visiting the chapel of rest...been 30 odd yrs since my Mrs has been back up there.. stopped outside her childhood home that her Dad built from a wreck, both her Nana's and Gramps places,Aunts and Uncles, cousins etc..all the places she played as a kid...its a beautiful part of the world...when the sun's shining mate, theres still a strong sense of community spirit there...that you dont get anymore ... putting her mother in a grave next to a motorway in Thornhill didn't feel right..so shes going back to God's Country4 points

love the bedlington x greyhounds, great all round mooching dogs, had 4 of them over the years, only fault i found with beddy x whippets was that they could get a bit vocal when outpaced by their quarry, but terrific ferreting dogs, fantastic noses woild put a bloodhound to shame, the last one i owned was in the late 90s, would have another in a flash, but sadly these days good woking bedlingtons are as rare as hens teeth, most ot dogs i had all came fro george newcombes rillington lines, les robinson pest controller from brigg always used rillington in his breeding and bred some damn good stock a3 points

I agree in regards to Israel Palestine (prior to last incident), but if you're talking about which is the lesser evil , I'll take the Jews all day, not blowing themselves up all over Europe , stabbing people enforcing sharia law on British streets , controlling freedom of speech etc etc. I just don't like islam at all , I guess it doesn't help that the worst of them are often British in passport.3 points

Marty’s sister could boogy a bit. She put some stuff to bed in her unfortunately short career but, as they say every run could be their last and they need to be running to be pleasing. The condition she was kept in was always fit and it showed.3 points

Maurice and Eddie great grand sire and great uncle to Morty. I always liked this picture as they are in their prime year's in fit condition at the end of a hard season. Happy memories of the graft I put into them and how hard they paid me back.3 points
