Sunak is thinking of cutting taxes for high earners, cutting stamp duty and scrapping inheritance tax before the next election in the hope of getting people to vote Tory. This may get a few "stay at home" Tory Shire voters to return to the fold, but if he thinks it will impress the "red wall" voters who abandoned Labour and voted Tory at the last general election, then he shouldn't be in politics ! It will lose him far, far more votes when Labour scream about Tory's looking after the rich. Heres a radical proposal for Sunak if he really wants to win the next GE....... Go on TV a8 points

All good points Wolfy.....but not really jokes. Perhaps you should start a thread entitled 'sensible life messages expressed via the medium of memes'8 points

30p Lee was a staunch believer in MPs not having second jobs. However he relaxed his position on that one when GB news offered him £100000 a year for hosting a chat show.3 points

Definitely practice with the same ammo you intend on hunting with. Also the same set up. Find a fork and bands your happy with and stick to them until your hitting your target I would say steel balls are your best bet.2 points

I always think of Bobby Charlton’s story as that of one completely unique to the uk . an icon in the sport , instantly recognisable. I always like this advert https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fy0PH36YHJQ&pp=ygUVQm9iYnkgY2hhcmxyaW4gYWR2d3J02 points

The 3 names you mentioned were the voice of the working man and woman when the country was totally different to what it is now. It always amazes me when i hear of ex miners who would have followed Scargill over a cliff but on the other hand wanted us to stay in the EU unlike Scargill who wanted us out.2 points

There's some fox shooting prick local who was big on long range fox shooting....wrote for a few rifle/shooting mags I believe. Until he shot someone's horse I've not heard anything else about it recently, it mustn't of made mainstream news.2 points

Funny when these big name dogs get brought up nobody ever mentions the bitches. An average dog could line 2 or 3 good bitches and everyone would give the credit to the dog if the pups turned out decent.2 points
