  9. For the ones who don't want it I agree but there are still loads of locals support it. There aren't many Towns and citys not effected by it now and in each one its nearly always the vocal groups that are the supporters. Trust me, plenty will tell you they are against it but hardly any will speak out or do any thing to oppose it and they deserve whats coming as much as the ones who support it. I wonder how many people who would normally holiday in Portland/Weymouth area will still go, bet there are a few on here? People will still holiday their but continue muttering under their

  16. To be fair, he's done well for himself - he came from fairly humble beginnings and made some good money through football. He pulled a Spice Girl when all of us would have knobbed one if we were given the chance (the ginger one when she was chubby for me ). I imagine that his kids are less humble but, that's probably down to the life that he's given them. On a smaller scale, I worked my arse off (still am) so that my daughter has no idea what it's like to grow up on somewhere like my old estate.

  22. It is mad looking back at the risks you take when you're young, the psychology of it all is fascinating i remember years ago a study was done by a doctor to do with steroids in sport it was called Goldman's Dilemma.....he put a question to a big number of Olympic level athletes that if you could take a magic pill that meant you will win the gold medal but you will die 10 years after would you do it......the vast majority said they would ! Focused driven youngsters are wonderful to see.......to the point that their goals become obsessions, then those qualities starts getting dangerous.

  27. Absolutely mate! My eldest turned 18 just a few weeks ago and i put an album together for her.. 0-18. I had to trawl way back through old laptops and tablets and hardrives for the early pics and I found some belting videos from when she was younger and I wish I'd took more whilst I could and capture those moments and memories because they don't half soon grow up!

  28. Few weeks back me and my son who is 13 went on a 2 day military themed excursion . It was run by a local ex forces guy who runs a gym locally . It was without doubt one of the best things I have done with my son . Its called "[BANNED TEXT] of passage" and works along the lines of giving you and your kid focused time together away from gadgets etc We were the first group who have done this and as this is wales it decided to piss down all day . The original idea was camping in woodland but because of the severe rain we had our base camp in the local gym which is a large tin building .

A long time ago now but my son was at this nursery and was telling the teachers about our chicks and chickens. All the other kids were fascinated. So my wife being my wife said you can borrow our incubator if you want. So comes home tells me . ME - I'm like Don't you mean my incubator love . The misses like they do urrrr yes your incubator love. Lol Anyway 14 years later the school are still doing it with the kids bought there own incubator. My little nephew
