  2. The little brown runner, I paid £2.50 for, just wanted to kill everything and did, was only small but kill fox’s feral cats in seconds even dug a few pigs with her, bit hard mouthed for selling rabbits but a real killing machine, but we were out every day all day, my current dog ain’t a patch on here but I think he would have been if he had a fraction of the work she got, I took her out with some top dogs at the time and she never let me down, one bloke I worked with had the best lamping dog in the south west?(sound familiar) my little bitch took every single rabbit that night and I was never

  3. I’ve had a clear out and I would like to find a new home for a collection of EDRD magazines in their binders. It’s 256 -322 in 7 binders . They are in excellent condition. I don’t want any money for myself. Instead I would like a donation to be made to the THL Johnny boy fund for his family . I didn’t know him , but he sounded like a decent man . They weigh a ton , so I won’t post them . I’m in Gloucestershire, so pick up only . PM for details.

  5. Whatever the reason, that coyote's death was too drawn out. Didn't appreciate the video personally. If you can't kill quarry quickly with dogs....use a rifle.

  6. I have seen 2 single handed coyote lurchers. Both were bred by an Irishman who moved here.Coyote hunting is different in Dixie than Iowa. Its done with a mounted hunt and lurchers are used after the coyote breaks. This one is old now but could do coyote single handed. He is spending his last years killing armadillo around the mounted hunt stable.

You know what - f**k 'em all - I've been taking what I can for years now. I sort out me and mine, the rest can swing. ........ I've been shafted by DWP and HMRC but, that's almost paid off. As soon as we've saved what we need, they can kiss my rosey arse. f**k the pensions, f**k the benefits, f**k the taxes, f**k everyone - I couldn't care less what happens to them - my priorities are to sort out my own family and, it will happen.

  8. I used to have a vine in a greenhouse in a house I had years ago . My father -in - law , who is a really rough old paddy wanted the grapes to make wine out of . I didn’t want them so he took them and made some “ wine “ . He proudly came around with his first vintage bottle , and eagerly poured me a glass and was looking straight in my eye for approval and validation . It was all I could do to not squint as it was really horrible and vinegar like . I’m no wine expert , but I knew it was “ Shit wine “ . Now I’m not one to speak I’ll of the dead , but my wife’s dad was someone who

  11. Nice to watch some dogs running toothed game but I have to tell you mate, those dogs would be in the ground in the UK ! Not looking for an argument just telling you in conversation. I caught 3 lads on a bit of permission I used to have one night and it was almost the exact same scenario, 3 dogs, none of them with an ounce of guts, nipping in, not wanting to get bitten and basically just torturing the poor f***ing fox……I told them to f**k off and shoot their useless mutts. Do you know if that’s the standard of dogs for this job over there or what’s the story ?

  12. I turned up to beat on a shoot with three border collies. Could have cut the atmosphere with a knife. Got asked back though. Then later on a beater's day I brought my GSD just to have a walk round. Nobody else had brought a dog because of the powdery snow so she ended up flushing and picking up for 8 guns. I think she retrieved about 53 or 54 pheasants. Walked like an old table the next day. Judge a dog by the dog, not the breed or how many sixteenths saluki it is.

  14. The break through is often where most go wrong from what I’ve seen .No finder will put you directly on the dog in all soil types . Pays to listen when you have a flat bottom to the dig and you think you are inches away .Even mute dogs need to breath heavy . I used to be so hyped up to break through when I was younger that I’d collapse it in on the dog ,separate quarry or miss the tunnel completely until I started listening to the dog .The ultimate break through to me is on the dogs neck so the soil can be moved away gradually to see exactly what’s going on even if the dog is scream

  15. Well it was an absolutely filthy day up at the shoot today, I’m managing to feed the birds into the drives now, cutting the feed down at the pens so they are getting off roost and going on the hunt for feed before the majority of them head back around the pens to roost, apparently next door had their first day yesterday, from what I’ve seen their birds aren’t quite ready but if they want to stir them up that’s up to them and I’m willing to feed them into my drives now I’m starting to see them on a couple of my boundaries, what I want now is some hard weather but at the minute that doesn’t look

Once they are in they will want to stay in, they are never giving people PR, not in a million years. jmho Nope, the only way is to vote honestly the first time and hope !

A export yard near Swindon i was in once bent over trying to pull some spare part off a old bus when a lion roared real close to me and i mean like the other side of the corrigated fence next to me and i thought my time was up as what the feck was a lion doing in a Wiltshire field ?,it roared again and i was just about to leg it when a elephant trumpeted and i thought what the feck is happening in my head .The owner of the yard walked round the corner and the lion roared again and i asked him if he heard what i was hearing?, he laughed and said there's a circus yard next door and if you want t

  19. Seeing as the weather was glorious today I went out in search of squirrels and hoping for a pheasant. As I walked up the farm track a rabbit bolted from the hedge which I duly bowled over .Then I noticed a few pheasants skulking up a hedgerow and seeing as I never had the dog with me today didnt think I would get a shot as they prefer to run. I cut them off further up the hedge and was surprised that 3 flushed and I shot all 3 ? Took me ages to find one of them as it landed on top of a tall hedge. I continued my round and sneaked up on a few magpies and squirrels and also

Some get the job done without much fuss but some do it with a drive and a hatefullness that makes them stand out from the rest.

Mate we were absolutely despised at the coursing club and thrown out after a year because our working class curs cleaned up on all the silverware’s killing was all that mattered when everything had a price tag on it, my dogs gave me a good life but I’d never argue they were better than yours unless they had been run together and shown in the flesh they were it’s all just stupid talk on a website ?

  25. What about my muzzloaders...I'll be sticking to lead illegal or not. I don't have an issue with steel in modern guns except that replacing lead for plastic wads just seems dumb to me. Its all just nonsense from the anti shooting brigades otherwise the building industry would of been forced to stop using it, battery manufacturing would of ceased and my water pipe would of been replaced by now! What I don't see is a mountain of lead shot killing wildlife left, right and centre but I do see mountains of plastic and rafts of the stuff killing wildlife globally. So when I do bre

  27. When I was mechanicing we had a couple of contracts moving large steel section and it was 2 pairs of drivers, 2 paddy’s and 2 Polish, they all worked unbelievably hard and you never had any problems with them, they used to leave the yard on Sunday evening and return the following Friday, they were given £12 a night stop over and I sure they took it as a challenge not to spend it on frivolous things like a shower or soap, when they came back into the garage the place would empty because no one wanted to have to get inside them 2 trucks, I used to just see who pissed me of the most that shift an

  28. Well if that’s the standard I understand your feelings about letting dogs kill game ? As an example this old boy below would have a fox (slightly smaller by a couple of kilos) in 2 pieces in a minute or less single handed. Over here most lads wouldn’t tolerate dogs like that for toothed game, contrary to popular belief we ain’t into cruelty ?

  29. So what's next? Do we have to go through the same drawn out process, whittling down the applicants until we have showdown.. like the last shit show with Sunak and Truss? Or is it a quick, get a replacement in and have another go? Is this a whole cabinet re shuffle....again? What must other countries think of our shit show, we came out of the European Union to a bright new start...we had control of our policies completely.... but what a pile of shit its been since...

First dog I ever saw was my "2nd dads'"... he took me everywhere hunting m, fishing etc...had a greyhound x collie... we used to poach hares near Exeter Airport.. if they were taken out of the seat even better, £5 a hare he was getting, I was a kid and loved it from day 1!! Not seen as much as some maybe more than others, a good dog is a good dog.. you know when you see one at it... I've only seen a couple that I would class as brilliant.. one owned by a good mate of mine, who doesn't sleep, wo

Building regs …. Don’t bother with that . He once got me to do a stud wall over acro props on a load bearing wall . I still drive past that house and cringe . We once did a screed in an extension. When the screed arrived the driver said the retardant in the screed gave us a few hours to work before it went off . “ Dat meant we could all go to da pub for a “swift point or two “.
