  6. Went lamping crabs; managed enough for bait along with a few flatties and a blonde ray case but the highlight was a bass of probably 4lb that I managed to catch by putting the kids net on his head and bucket behind him

  7. Back up on the moor tonight for another go at the rabbits, first off a stop off at the under keepers house for a cup of tea and a catch up as I haven’t seen him since he was up for a day on the pheasants with us in the winter, after and hours chat and a go at a couple of his targets, we headed out, there wasn’t much about until it got dark, then they came out, we stayed in the fields we were in last Sunday to get on top of this area first, we shot 76 this time, the picture is of the 30 or so we took away, looking across the valley with the thermal I counted 68 in one field, so we’ll have to ha

  12. When Prince Harry was going through a difficult time in his teens he spent a lot of time out with hunt terrier men. Not one of those men or the young farmers betrayed his trust. Most were on £150 quid a week and could really of done with the 10 grand the newspapers would of given them.... Wheres Harry now when those men are thrown from their jobs. The people of the East end were massive supporters of England and the Royal family.....now the East end of London looks like my local town of Bolton....its more like down town Somalia. What about some support for those communities which have be

  14. Yes. And suicides I suppose, which usually represent 50% of gun deaths. It is still a significant stat but it’s been produced with an agenda and so worded to suit.

  19. Meanwhile, back on the lettuce patrol tonight. Hartley and his mates were giving the newly planted lettuce a bashing. We had to show willing and go and thin them out a bit. Anyone with a choked shotgun can have it bored out for thirty pounds a barrel. I have had three AYAs done and they are just fine using super steel. I have also been buying rifle bullets and storing them in case the lead replacement is crap.?

  23. I used to read the Shooting News at the time and was Les White's white dog not a fox terrier x border collie? Seen it once when he had it with him at terrier show held at Fox and hounds pub in Whitley Chapel. Enjoyed his articles with accounts of just mooching about after bunnies with a dog and ferrets. His articles seemed to change a bit when he got a Bedlington and became a bit of an expert.

  24. I'll be honest it was a great day, much needed father and son time, although being rather vigilant I gave them plenty of freedom and responsibilities. I was a bit rusty would do a few things differently, especially food wise, They stayed up until half ten, I was in bed not much later they went straight down as thought might have been a few issues but were none , I didn't sleep more than about 30 minutes, couldn't get comfy and checking on them etc had cramps legs killing me realised it was squatting at fire and tent entrance ?. Had a wicked siesta today , they had a 2 hour kip in car with mis

Side note: I lost my grandmother and aunt to a drunk driver. I still consume alcohol. I just don’t drive intoxicated. Imagine that

  44. The second amendment is the foundation for which the constitution is based off of. Without the second amendment, the government is free to do as they will. Don’t believe me? Research the Bundy Ranch Standoff and the peaceful armed protest in 2020 in Virginia over the governor wanting to confiscate firearms. If you wish to look further, research every violent dictator in history. All of them ruled over a disarmed population. Secondly, if guns are banned the only people that would be disarmed is law abiding citizens. Criminals don’t follow the law. Hence why they are criminals. I deal
