been thinking about a lighter fox gun! handled a few different ones I liked and it was a toss up between a fluted 22-250 or a t3x 243 but then ive been chewing over it and ive got a more than capable 6.5 that will do deer and fox and has but its a bit long and I like to keep a real scope sat on it for the deer. the reason ive been thinking about a change is times caught up with me and my shoulder is fcuked from 30 odd years of plastering and laying bricks.. so the .204 ive got im well happy with its an ace fox gun but its a heavy lump.. bought it second hand with a sh6 points

I cant believe folk have a downer about " Heat " its one of my favourite films, has everything in mu opinion....the cafe scene with DeNiro and Pacino is a classic conversation of honesty, commitment and mutual respect i think its brilliantly played....if im not wrong it was the first scene they ever played together....one of the few films ive watched more than twice.6 points

If in doubt, don't risk it, there's plenty of rabbit holes that aren't near setts. I'd give it a miss. It may run very deep as well so not worth the hassle, especially as you couldn't dig the ferret out if it lies up without the risk of prosecution for disturbing a sett. Find a different set of holes. Cheers, D.6 points

I'm self employed so no I'm not having it. I work in numerous care homes but never get asked. Just sign in, use ppe and temp check on entry. The NHS are not requiring staff to be jabbed. The NHS have some of the best legal teams going. The reason the NHS haven't made staff have it is because they have been warned by there legal teams that they simply cannot force staff to have this jab and if legal cases were brought by staff the NHS would simply not have a leg to stand on. Tell them you are terrified of the health consequences of the jab and require your employer to state th5 points

What the f**k is the point in starting a topic about issues between black and white people and then whining and moaning when people discuss issues between black and white people !!4 points

I used the character of Neil McCauley for a case study in leadership . I love the little scenes where he finds the wife of val Kilmer in a hotel , when he finds val Kilmer on the couch at his house and the part where they are all sat in the restaurant together . it may sound twee , I’m not an bank robber or a team captain but I do like to think of myself as a good leader . And knowing your people inside out is such an important thing . I love that perfectionist character flaw he has of not being able to let a loose end lie. It’s admirable in doses but when your past the problem w3 points

I didn't mean it in that way mate. Perhaps you don't see it in the US like we are being force fed it here but every single program on our TV or radio, seems to have a white man bad angle to it. Tonight I watched a programme about education in the Victorian era that included a segment about how evil empire was and how we should be ashamed about singing the national anthem after learning about empire. Then I watched a program about admiral Nelson and it included a segment about how we shouldn't hold him in high esteem as he once agreed that the slave trade was good for training navy3 points

I've been down in Florida with my wife and girls.Tried shark fishing a couple times but they have moved offshore.Last night we went and shot stingrays.Me and my oldest daughter shot 46 in about 4 hours. Most were cownose rays.I kept a dozen of them for shark bait next summer. We shot a few good southern stingray that put up a fight. There is four types of ray that you can legally shoot in Florida.Usually we get 3 types but the fourth type is a little more rare.Last night was the first time we ever got all 4 species of ray in one night I think. My daughter man2 points

I am, you're just venting your anger out on those protests mate. Wether you agree with the protests or not they were not actively blocking the roads and preventing emergency services from passing through neither did they say that they would refuse to move for them. Either way it comes down to terrible policing, folk shouldn't have needed to drag people out of the way, the police should have done it.2 points

Some of the staff at the care home the wife works at who refused the jab have been given exemption notes from a doctor i believe i think this will become the norm for any staff not wanting the jab as the scare tactic of no jab no job is not working and staff shortages would be more detrimental to patient's well being than weather the staff have been jabbed or not.2 points

Leucillin is good stuff. One of the old dogs had a "gummy" eye, so flushed it three times a day with the cleaning solution and applied the leucillin drops three times a day. Cleared up in two days. less than £10 for the two bottles, and there's plenty left.........the vet wants £35 consultation fee and god knows how much for treatment and medicine ! Cheers.2 points

You and me both mate thats why i tend to keep things simple and everything ive ever observed on racial difference leads me to think that the types of issues you mention healthcare, poverty, crime etc are all linked to ethnic iq......again,to keep things simple i think first world nations and third world nations are what they are for a reason.2 points

Back to feed this afternoon after another member did Sunday, he decided to have a family day out up there ( basically bothering birds instead of just feeding and leaving them to it ?) with the young lad and the missus, I’d given him a long winded text on where to feed, when I got there 90% of the feeders were empty and there wasn’t a scrap of wheat in any of the feed areas, so after feeding and the birds following me about because they were that hungry I thought I’m going to have to ring him to find out what he’s done. He said, he’d used 2 bags of wheat at each pen ( I use 5 at each pen every2 points

Exactly the same for me Phil. I had a few months off work back in the early 80s and I was up Airton twice a week, we caught a lot of rabbits, drunk a lot of beer and had a lot of laughs. R.I.P mate, you were one of the best guys I've hunted with and showed me plenty of great hospitality, just a random bloke you got talking to at a coursing meet. ? D.2 points

You've been raised with southern culture ? Its a curse sometimes. We don't think like big city Yankees or Brits.Polite manners and lots of guns lol.One thing i did find interesting in the video is most of this man's converts were Yankees from up north.Considering the Klan was originally started to kill out yankee carpetbaggers I find it quite ironic. Some people just feel the need to be part of a group as they are to weak to stand alone.Just my opinion.2 points

? A worthless man will always find someone to blame for his own laziness. The type of white man mentioned above needs lynching on the courthouse square. Since I believe there is different races then I am a racist.Thats not the same as white supremacy.I don't think whites are superior. If I got arrested tomorrow I would probably hire a Jewish lawyer. If I need an outboard for my boat it will come from Japan. The best pocket knives come from Solingen germany.Never bet against a Mexican at a chicken knife fight.Southern blacks can cook barbecue better than anyone. If I needed to create a v2 points

That's the way I now see it. You can't have a housing crisis and allow three quarters of a million people in at the same time. You can't want 'to protect the nhs' and dump three quarters of a million people in to it. Towns and cities become unrecognisable, people move to new build estates and buy a 20 grand car....suddenly they are trapped in a debt prison and a lifestyle prison that the only way to maintain it is to keep working, keep growing, keep paying, don't rock the boat don't step out of line, don't disagree with what's happening as your credit card bill needs paying. Not at all. I'm against mass immigration. I'm against those who don't integrate but set up there own 'mini home here' Don't see any hypocrisy there. And I'm not after a 400 page argument while we debate that opinion. ??2 points

That may be but we get something much worse over here which kills thousands of dogs every year...they're called dog lovers! You can always spot them by the fact that their dogs are barrel shaped and visit the vet more frequently than they should...due to being grossly overweight.?2 points
