  2. Well I'm happier to be in the magnificent 7 than the munch bunch! Lol Not for me to be a mod though, too much responsibility!! Lol Quite honestly though I dont think a swathe of new mods is the answer. Just blokes to start acting like blokes again, the call out of families, wives and kids is disgraceful and not how blokes act. There's always gonna be disagreements, debates etc and that's fine/healthy but over the last few months its gone too far, and it is in the main a small group who are trying to point score constantly.... its only a site, the worst a mod can do is b

  4. Why close the general section ? I don't see any nonsense going on in the threads about snooker, darts, etc ! Where would we post them ? Better just get rid of the people who spoil the threads, after all, getting rid of the general section would only see the spoilers move onto another section. You don't really think they would behave, do you ? Cheers.

  6. Mrs found this on the pebble ridge at Sandymere a few years ago, not much flint local so most comes from one small area which all has the same colour. Local museum did a write up of it as they are so rarely found. The clay on the foreshore has human footprints visable when the sand gets scoured away by winter storms, was a marshy area in prehistory used by stone age hunter gatherers.

  7. Four grams is exactly twenty carats. The ancients weighed things in carats, (the carob seed was of a very uniform weight so was used for weighing, the name morphing into "carat", as used for weighing jemstones). So you could be right, Tomo. Also, Im available for home schooling, that's if you want your kids to learn a lot of useless information ! ?? ! Cheers.

  13. Right , I apologise If this sounds abrasive . one ... what do people want for working through the pandemic ? A f***ing blue Peter badge? Be a grown up and stop worrying about what you’ve got and others haven’t . two.... them and us . Always the man sticking it to you . Never your fault . That’s the way it is , some people drive forklifts , some service them , some own the factory . That’s just how it is and no disrespect to people but that’s business , your paid to do a job ? Not happy do something else about it . three... we’ve had the best part

  14. I think people should be careful what they wish for ,some of the mods we have had on here in the last have been power mad Pricks ,we are lucky nowadays to have reasonable fellas ,it's not their fault some people think it's ok to behave like absolute nobs as soon as they get behind a keyboard ,,some chaps on here could do with looking at themselves with a bit of honesty .

Teachers seem to be getting a poor press lately and the perception is this is one long holiday for them ,I can only speak about what I know ,and I know of one teacher who has always been conscientious and hard working ,but since this outbreak has had to work harder and longer than ever before ,early starts and late night's are the norm ,learning and doing things outside of her remit is everyday ,the worry and concern about her students ,the dealing with idiot ,lazy irresponsible parents the mountains of red tape every cough in school entails is all taking its toll on her and it breaks my heart

  19. I’ve worked through this whole thing. Going into peoples homes and flat out on hospital wards, as well as custody and looking after kids, assessing people who’ve had a breakdown and getting them into mental hospital. And helping kids being abused by their wanker parents. I don’t want no prick to come and tell me what a good job I done. I signed up for it and I’m doing it. My mates a nurse f**k me she hasn’t stopped moaning about it every 5 minutes. I told her to shut the f**k up and quit if she don’t like the job but I think she just enjoys moaning. See a lot o

  20. Arguably the most useful dog I've had was a cross bred black terrier bitch. She didn't have any amount of breeding behind her but she was the sort of terrier you could take anywhere. I got her off a mate who did a bit of all sorts with his terriers. She was a fantastic beating and rough shooting terrier, naturally steady and a retriever. Obviously lacked the endurance and strength of a spaniel making up for it with nose and thinking. She basically jibbed on earth work at about two but then some time later (three maybe) became a steady dedicated fox dog. She was never a decent earth dog but a d

  21. Knocking the old raised bed down and pulling all the bits of lead off I've nailed to it over the years. When I've been out metal detecting I'd empty my pockets of non shiny stuff and nail it to the outside of the raised bed. I'd also knock old pennies or unidentifiable coins into the cracks and bend them over. Some of the little pieces of lead must of been really old weights, plus medieval spindle worls, worly giggs, dress weights etc

  27. The big fool is starting to take shape now and maturing fast. Generally a friendly biddable dog but has his moments, very smart dog and pretty independent. Jumps like a stag, despite me not doing any jumping with him ..... a couple of days ago he cleared the fence into my neighbours garden to have words with their arsehole of a german shepherd..... I’m 6 foot 3 and the fence is taller than me! He’s good feet, speed and plenty of wind. I’ve pretty much tried to keep him off to much game as we don’t really have any rabbits etc here. Killed a few rats and had a couple of races with our chosen qua

I've never been an instigator in any this nonsense but if someone is being a dick I'll tell them as I would if they were stood in front of me, my mouth has got me into a few situations I'd rather forget but that's life I'm afraid.

Lived in Indiana in 2002 , one particular day i was on my way to the shops buy some fags, im a bit of a shifty looking old twat, ? but to cut a long story short, i was stopped by the highway patrol, i was warned not to walk in that district, anyway this copper got out, christ he was a huge bugger, he asked me if he could help, i told him im after some fags officer, as soon as i opened my mouth he clicked i nearly had to pick him up off the floor

  39. Really pleased with how my young dog is shaping up, now coming up 21 months old, being the first dog I've bred for myself. He's not easy and biddable like his dam but he has a brilliant work ethic and far better wind than her so I'm sure in time he'll make up for his faults in other ways. Had a great first season with him all things considered and look forward to many more. Recent picture of him stripped out. He's out of my Heidi (bred by Poxon) x a dog called Micky who comes from Jackie Drakeford lines. Included a photos of others from the litter now they have matured too.

  40. My mrs is the same, she worked on the covid ward as the management volunteered her for it and she caught covid whilst working there, after the 1st wave they gave her a bonus of boots own hand cream at £1, she told them to stick it and walked out, yet the managers never went near the covid ward and hid in their offices the whole time, and when the news cameras had it on the evening news it was the management who were standing out front in the carpark takingall the praise the wankers.
