Had a late message of a resident on a estate I shoot on, 10pm Saturday night, there's a fox about, Belly full of Indian food, reply was I will have a run up Sunday night, Well Sunday was a good day, shoot my first 100 sporting registered comp, 78 /100 , Then ventured up go my permission with the 17hmr as ive just put a new pard nv008plrf on the 223c& haven't scoped it in yet! A fox was spotted in the thermal, a good 600 yrds out, a few good squeaks on the caller in it come, it dropped down in the valley 274 yards away, then appears on my side of the valley, a few13 points

Do we think Trump is a bit nuts when in actual fact he is talking total sense ? We have been fed madness for so many years that now we think normal is weird ?11 points

Numbers 112 and 113 were hard won to be honest .The full moon dosnt best work with the hunter I’ve found but these things have to eat and both eventually came to a deer head I had staked out .A small shoot near me with no keeper to speak of just a farmer feeding birds having trouble with a few foxes taking pheasants first light .Somebody else had apparently had a go but without success .Been on my list for a while but time and other commitments meant it had to take a back seat . The shoot borders a large estate where they hammer the foxes incessantly so I’m guessing these foxes had seen and8 points

I think I’ve been around the houses with this . I talked to a mate who reloads and he was going on about how important it was to know where your lands were and how critical it was to be a certain distance from the lands . I know Steve Bowers (rifle maker) and had a chat to him and he said come over to the workshop and I will do some measurements and you will have some bullets to use as a guide . The bullets stick out a mile and don’t work in the magazine. I am happy with the bullets I’ve been producing with the C.O.A.L to be honest, so I’m just going to stick to that . I am not a8 points

When Trump was asked to condemn right wing militias in last nights Presidential debate, he said ; "Proud Boys, stand back, and stand by" ! I took that to mean " let the left wing start it, but be ready to finish it " " The left are screaming about it, but I bet a lot of blue collar Americans are nodding their heads ! Cheers.7 points

Hoping to be moving soon and have already got myself a little doer upper boat that I will be renovating through the winter ready to sell in spring /summer, as long as all goes well should make decent money on it so will buy another at the end of the summer and renovate through the winter, more interested in trying to earn 6 to 12 months money in one hit rather than chasing as when your working all day every day you are to busy to earn the big money, so a more leisurely approach with bigger rewards is what I,m looking for, buying up camper vans in winter is another good little earner I,ve dabb7 points

Here’s mine they’ve had a new lid today, well tiles anyway. They never did like like the smooth ones and I had some left over from the house so my mate got his lads to throw them on so all matching with the house roof now. Sleep boxes are breeze blocked at back of kennel with a lift up lid. Insulated floor with thermaboard then a 3ml plastic wipe clean floor but they got Astro turf thermal blankets and a heat lamp if needed ?. Better heating than me at the minute I got no heating downstairs7 points

Maybe it’s me being an old fogey but the the last 20 odd years everything got too “professional”.......it was all bits of paper and method statements and young clever c**ts with no idea of a mans word and all that. Life was so much simpler when you opened your mouth and stood on, spread the bit of dough around and everyone was happy. Now it’s all quotes, interviews, presentations, pricing schedules, everyone under cutting everyone else, chains of command, can’t get a chunk of readies out the bank without them calling in Sherlock Holmes blah blah blah......I detest it if I’m honest an6 points

I think the bloke Greyman was talking to may have exaggerated a bit ! I spent 26 years in the aircraft/airline industry as an engineer and retired as a Maintenance Supervisor of one of the biggest airlines in the world. There are VERY stringent rules and regulations , overseen and monitored by bodies such as the CAA and the FAA. Everything is governed by ISO rules. Everyone from Pilots to mechanics are well qualified and undergo recurrent training to keep up their licenses. Every part of a commercial aircraft down to the last rivet is checked during periodic maintenance. Any par5 points

I said it before but Biden was the only idiot in the dems that could not be made to look any worse by a drubbing at the ballots which is why he was thrown under the bus, but there was a part two to the plan which hopefully will never occur, but he was just expected to win then step aside for someone like the Hilary to reappear and carry on, the blm and Antifa shit the democrats are allowing to happen in democrat run areas has driven 1000s more democrats to vote for trump, it’s only places like the bbc or cnn that are portraying biden a winner because he fits there narrative, trump will have a5 points

Trump would have my vote if I was living in America. What is the alternative.... Biden ? A man who sniffs children’s hair , and can’t remember what day it is . The man is clearly struggling with some sort of dementia. Why the hell the democrats thought he would be a good candidate is beyond me . They have all but handed Trump a second term . In the U.K. we need to hope Trump does get in because the democrats hate Brexit Britain.5 points

I've never really known what 'the dream' is, still don't. But if I was to start over, and with hindsight, I think ten years in the forces and then train as a PH in Africa would probably suit me. I'm generally of the opinion that working for a living is shit no matter the flavour. You just have to find the best deal and mould your mindset to a more positive one.5 points

Whilst typing this, I can hear the sound of several thousand greys flying over the cottage and dropping in on a stubble field just 300yds away but not on my land. There are now about 10k greys and a number of canadas all around the village edges with a thousand or so just starting to drop on one of our fields so we are giving them a day or two to settle and number of others will follow. Deeks out of the loft, pity they are all canada deeks but better than nothing (might try to paint them at some stage) and put up a hide for the duration. Fingers crossed and we do need luck as there are s4 points

Golden Syrup: A man with a completely bald head and only one leg is invited to a Xmas fancy dress party. He doesn't know what to wear to hide his head and his wooden leg, so he writes to a fancy dress company to explain his problem. A few days later he receives a parcel with a note: Dear Sir, Please find enclosed a Pirate's outfit. The spotted handkerchief will cover your bald head and with your wooden leg you will be just right as a Pirate. The man is offended that the outfit emphasizes his disability, so he writes a letter of complaint. A week passes and he receives anot4 points

I watched the trump election live in the company of Americans and everyone of them was over the moon When he hit 270 since then I’ve had a massive interest in the politics of the United States and it’s absolutely amazing to me the bias against and for him across the huge networks . I’m not American , I’m British but I firmly believe that ifhilary had served it would have affected my situation a lot more as I think I would have been Somewhere with work. when I see the hysteria of blm , the liberals I thank god i was born a lad from the north f England. Having a bit of a sort out the other day and found this little radio. 22 years ago myself and half a million others converged on London to let our voices be heard to try and stop the ban on fox hunting. It didn’t work and the BBC and mainstream media hardly covered what was and is the largest demonstration in this country’s history. It was a peaceful event with no looting or bad behaviour. But what did the media show ?A handful of hippies shouting at us . Bloody typical. Anyway this little radio was given to loads of us and was supposed to broadcast a special March radio program b3 points

I’m currently sat in a van writing a Request for Change form our wondering how the f**k I’m going to find Two days on my critical path flow chart to do it . It’s pissing down and the plant is absolutely filthy wondering how I’ll get this all cleaned for Friday . at times I wish I was up a hill in Brecon with a Bergan on dossing around without a care in the world Looking at a map and know that all I need to so for the next two hours is put one foot in front of another . but I know that if I was there , I’d be walking along thinking , I wish I was In a nice warm van f***ing about i3 points

Apart from the numerous bad experiences people have with hunting, let’s not forget that it’s a British tradition. The likes of Cherie Blair and Lacs want us all to conform to their ideals , it’s the principle as well for me . You might not ride with the hunt , or believe it’s an effective method of pest control. But it’s tradition and the the beating heart of some rural communities.3 points

Agreed. I basically listened to the ruck about obamacare but, practically as soon as the subject started changing / it turned into a three way bickering match? I just fukked off back to flix. I will say though that I'm personally yet to hear of Trumpster doing anything bad. I have a friend, in NZ, FFS, who swears he's the devil incarnate. But, her only argument seems to be " Orange Man Bad! " Again; I look at his supporters. Okay. Lot of bible bashing types who Seriously believe in their god. But, look who wants creepy joe; Load of niggers and SJW's who just want free stuff and3 points

The hunts have had to take a good look at themselves. They didn’t/don’t do themselves any favours in the eyes of a lot of the public. Even some country people have little time for them . There is still a bit of an elitist element particularly with some of the famous hunts . But there are also some very working class packs doing a proper pest control job . What the animal right brigade didn’t realise is that mounted fox hunting has very little to do with killing foxes and a lot to do with Exciting horse riding . Foxes were positively encouraged to live in hunting areas . Whe3 points
