Got pissed on from start to finish , drove for an hour , was gonna knock it on head . But my youngest lad has waited all week to go out . He was the lamper for night and me the rabbit carrier for night . Turned out a decent night . Ended up with 14 , still plenty to go at as well. Happy lad n dog16 points

Any you guys done field walking for Stone Age flints? I found my first ones while sat in a hide pigeon shooting, while sat waiting I spotted two flints at my feet. Pick them up and as I held them thought somebody was hunting on this spot maybe 3000 years ago. Any way I started looking for them after the fields where ploughed and harrowed and after a good shower of rain. Hope they may be of some interest. This is a Oblique Arrow head late neolithic about 4000 years old or so I was told. Very small Leaf Shaped Arrow Head. Two small barbs 20mm long, stuck in the s10 points

Nice little pack there foxpack.its good to be back.we got no kill yesterday but we got plenty of hunting.some very bad missess by the lurcher lads.but to be honest it was one of the funniest days ive ever had in the field.one of them type of days.one lad got 2 races tru the day that he fcuked up.he was watching a fox break on a far ditch and never saw another fox coming up his side lol 25 yards away..another one he moved from one gate to the next cos he thought it was a better spot only for the fox to bust out tru the first place.he wont forget sunday in a hurry.8 points

Rabbits are making their way out of the fence line and into the field so their numbers need reducing before any damage is caused to any horses at this livery yard. I did one bury with two hobs and the older bitch but left the pup in the truck just watching as it was beside a road and I’m not confident I could stop her if she was chasing a rabbit in that direction. Ended up taking twelve from there then had a look at a few other holes away from the road but they were empty it was good to get the pup out with the ferrets and it was a first outing for one of the hobs too, onwards and upwards6 points

I’ve been on a few real deep digs , digging into the night , but I’ve never been in a situation when I thought my number was up but I’ve been on a few that we nearly lost dogs . I will share a story that might interest you . There was an “earth” behind a house belonging to a couple Dentists who had moved into the village . They were up for retirement and loved their garden . Trouble was the occupants of this “earth” behind their house constantly did Poo in the garden and knocked over expensive pots . They stopped me as I went past one day and asked for my help . I said I would sort it out but5 points

But in the small print there was a clause that said by the time your kids grow up they can come back over Nick everyone's jobs and be pushed straight to the top of the housing list in every council in England with priority on housing benefit and family tax credits over the native English who actually helped get there country back from the grasps of Adolf hitler, so I would say we have probably got the shitty end of the stick not them ????4 points

I think religion was a good thing many moons ago as it brought communities together. But over time the clergy got greedy and religion became a way of controlling people and they made a bundle in the mean time .3 points

Had the makings of a good thread.. Interesting how others work their dogs to achieve the same goal. Seems to me that what ziggy does is not for the faint hearted. Take my hat off too you fella?3 points

Railways around us all been sured up with gabian baskets but new holes have appeared already. Some young lads will enter a terrier I know it and then the older generation will be asked to help get them out the shit ,again. Some places arnt worth the life of a dog .3 points

Unless you are trained and can prove such then it is illegal to treat your dog UNLESS it is a matter of life or death .I don't agree with it but that's the way it is .Commen sense and a basic understanding of first aid for dogs will do away with the need for vet treatment but trying to do some of the more serious things can get you right in the shit .Open forum isn't the place to discuss this though.3 points

Because most folks dont have a clue and jab a dog up for the slightest thing, in the end it is not effective.... And also if your door goes through for what ever reason, penicillin and needles in the fridge you be up on neglect charges.... Any one if confident can jab a dog... Dont need to shout it out on www?2 points

Legally I think only a vet is allowed to jab an animal but commen sense and time served tells me be sensible and get yo know how to look after your animals in the absence of a vet .Well done to our resident vet DC .2 points
