  1. Like I need another hobby Lol. My shoulder been playing me up for over two months and daren't go out coil to the soil so started cutting out old coin I found detecting. My first attempt was a 1981 2p the year my Lad was born, gave it to him as a key ring. Second attempt is a key ring for the Lads Wife. A 1927 crusty old one penny. This ie the third try because Wifey liked the Hare looking at the moon. Still needs a bit of tidying up with the needle files, work in progress. 1895 penny. Cheers Arry

  3. But think what you'll be missing. A hot day, with thousands of people shuffling along a tiny corridor of grass basically looking at overpriced field sports goodies in tents. You'll miss the lads being dragged by their panting gundogs wearing their green wellies, Barbour jackets and with their gundog whistles prominently on view around their necks. Some even dress their bored wives in similar garb and drag them along too. You'll miss the leather hat lads fulfilling some fantasy about themselves, the lurcher lads and the terrier lads with their frustrated demented terriers screaming" c

  5. They've grown up like sisters together,My daughter is autistic and struggles with social anxiety but her dogs are the one thing that keeps her calm.Shes been able to control and handle her Gypsy better than most adults you see with dogs since she was 5 or 6.If it wernt for the fact she had her last week at school and a weekend away with her mum I'd have probably done it a week ago but although she spent 3hours cuddling her and crying last night she's determined she's coming to the vets this morning to comfort her whilst its done.Very brave and mature for a kid who struggles with so many day to

  10. Back in the day I picked cockles for a living. It was seasonal about five months of the year. It was a get rich quick game and it attracted lots of crazy people. There were gangmasters paying illegal immigrants washers, people who had never been on a beach before and people like me who got gold fever. We fished two tides a day. Just fished and slept. The rewards were phenomenal. Guys could routinely make more in a day than they could in a month. Every day! I bought all the gear. Two 4x 4s, two boats, and an ATV and trailer. I had 4 guys working with me. I had been a commercial

  12. To all terriermen who are wrong side of 50, youll know the feeling when someone half your age jumps in to do abit. Fact of life I suppose. Some dogs must be same. It seems like last year i bred a litter trying to get a border/ lakey type. failed and got mongrels but wastage was low to be fair to em. took em out today and thought the bitch looks old and shes only 5 at christmas. Time flies but hell of a bitch that Ive spoilt abit on tough days.

  13. I’m actually proud of my carbon footprint 20 year old 3.0 litre diesel, when I pop into the services at the Oxford turn off on the M40, and see the great big line of Tesla’s and the like sitting there charging up I make a point of slowing down opening my window and pointing and laughing at them whilst accelerating on my way with a big black puff of diesel smoke in my wake

  14. Over the years I employed many of the these type of lads who nobody wants, lads who had been on the dole, involved in petty crime, smoked weed all day, come from fractured homes or bad situations…..I can count the “culls” on one hand. See I’m a nobody, but I told these lads from the get go “you don’t have to be what everyone thinks you are” I showed them that when they earned respect they got it and those who didn’t deserve it got told to f**k off, I watched these lads grow as men…..all it needed was someone to believe in them, give them a bit of guidance, talk to them and treat them

  25. I think it’s only the first crosses that go 28/29” mate. Second crosses can be a lot smaller. I had an Ashington bred second cross dog, early 70’s , that went 25/26”. When he went over a greyhound, I had a bitch pup that would have been the size of the bitches I keep now. The one on the right in this pic is a bitch I had with only 1/8th deerhound, the rest was beddy , whippet, greyhound and only went 23” the bitch on the left was Ashington bred , mainly deer/ grey with just a dash of collie and only made 24”; . Billy Doherty had small, ( for pure deehound), bitches,

That hotel is literally round the corner to me....there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that paid agitators were there.....this is all very carefully orchestrated and totally sinister in my opinion.....Epping is a small market town,a civil parish that has long been known as a well to do area with some of the most high end expensive properties in Essex here......it has also long been known as an area with a strong right wing presence ( which is part of the reason i moved here just over 20 years ago )..... the Bnp had a strong foothold here years ago, the British Democrats made Epping become o

  42. There you go thats all it takes to force councils and hopefully governments to listen....i feel quite proud of my leafy little community for the most part i think we've showed a lot of class. Hopefully other areas will do the same,if as a nation we can get people outside every migrant hotel and council that houses migrants in hotels the police alone will be too over stretched for councils and governments not to listen.
