I think it must be because the US already has troops and bases on Greenland and a 1915 treaty allows them to have as many troops and bases on Greenland as they want. I think he doesn’t want to defend it for free, he wants payment , as you say, in the rare earth minerals. Greenland is supposed to have 50% of the worlds known supplies. Cheers.3 points

European countries should raise tariffs on US goods and pull teams out of the world cup until he see's sense on Greenland , its just a land grab for the oil and minerals3 points

In my head I imagine three hundred and odd reform mp's with the same mindset as me. Can't happen, me ?, myself ?, I'd be removed from the house before my seat was warm. You've got to hope he's worked out a strategy with so many sneaky bstards in his cabinet with three hundred sane genuine reform back benchers who along with the country will hold them to account. Once they as a party get some political experience then they can ditch the turncoats.3 points

You talk a good course you go for easy runs. Then put videos up of daft hares running dogs around in circles. Or come on commenting about injuries. Some area past week the grounds still been hard. i don`t think it works like that with trump, he has put a lot of tariffs on Canada, so Canada retaliated and trump just raised them higher, trumps has caused a lot of problems here for the working man in Canada, a lot of people have lost there jobs because of it, there was the car industries closing because of the tariffs put on by trump also the metal industry is struggling, the consciences i get from reports across the country that a lot of Canadians don`t like trump, not because of the way he is sorting out his country but more to do with the tariffs.2 points

Very wet office today, but that didn’t put the guns off, they finished on 46, I’ve only got one day left now and I’m kind of glad even though it’s been a cracking season2 points

Probably more early 80’s than 70’s thing but the advent of the video player and video rental shops was a revelation. Had a mate who’s folks would always be out of a Saturday night and we’d all troop round to his to watch some horror, or Vietnam war.., or gangster movie. Loved this at the time, although it really hasn’t aged well2 points

MP lives over my neck of woods. Fellas that live in Same area would see him with lucky an lucky 2 doing plenty of road work. Mick hasn't got a months road work in them dogs. He drives to areas let's the dogs out for a run about on the land. That's no good for harding the feet up. He mentions feather or hair between the toe lol. That's because they don't see any road work. It's f***ing grown.2 points

Your dogs might get injured Mick. You get seasons like that. Some folk just pack in. You've had a terrible season but your still getting on. Fair play, and your dogs are always immaculate. They're bucking up now. Get your running in lads and don't be bragging in 4 weeks when they're going over . It's been a very short season. Good luck to the sportsmen. And to the murderers, well2 points

Your definitely not a lier mate I give you that. You've had some misfortune with every dog in space of 4 months. Takes some doing that. You must be well educated on condition the dogs. I know from how slim you are you get plenty of miles in.2 points

Caught this little pigeon in the center of the local town. Had to fight off some mad karens who decided they were animal saviours and I was obviously a cruel evil pigeon torturer. I'll probably be on Facebook pages later "have you seen this dog fighter catching pigeons for bait, please share" Anyway I phoned the number on the ring and it's from Bristol. They are driving to pick it up in the morning.....6.5 hr round trip2 points

A great weekend with A good pair of friends who come up for a couple weekends hunting every year to me. Started off Friday checked the first earth , very well ran however a promising young dog with 7/8 digs under his belt said no, tried a more experienced bitch. She also said no so that was good enough for us he wasn’t in it but not far away. Went across the road checked another one on the same farm he wasn’t in it but down the ditch we checked an earth I never got game out of before and sure enough it was holding. Lovely digging at 1.0m out the flat of the field . 1 accounted for. Up the road2 points

I did try to patch up the metalwork with the Phillips but it is designed for dipping and the results were useless however I have now stripped all the colour off, although still needing a little more cleaning the surface with wire wool then during the weekend I will attempt to re-apply the Phillips manually and if I am not happy with that, I will be either buying a Birchwood Casey Perma Blue full kit or the metalwork will be spray painted. I will put up some photos when I start the process. Phil1 point

Didn't get much work done today, set off and then noticed I had bald tyres so had to go and get 4 new ones fitted. Then it was home to pick up the dog and gun as id had an offer of an evening flight from @Blackmag. After driving to his chosen spot we stood talking in the corner of a field waiting for evening to come on he happened to mention that he'd seen signs of an otter. 10 minutes later I saw a patterdale terrier with a funny type of run that was coming right across the field towards us. I pointed it out as it dawned on us what it was. If we had been a few steps further back into t1 point

Good luck mate it’s a devil and deep blue sea decision but I think a lot of the benefits of self employment have been eroded to make it a lot less appealing or beneficial government don’t like entrepreneurs and money makers any more just everyone on the treadmill paying the man1 point

Here’s a little laugh for you all a few years back I was asked to meet some documentary makers in Somerset regarding a film they were making, so we arranged to meet at roger wilkins cider farm near Glastonbury I was unaware they were filming just thought an intro anyways I’m having a few ciders and some fine cheese with rog and some locals and get to talking about why I was there next minute sound boom cameras and were off so I’ve just been sent a short clip of the film before it’s release and my accent is so bad I’ve been given subtitles anyway I’m the one in red lol1 point

Got to say I'm pleased with this one, 14 days to complete, for us, floor layers in tomorrow, we were bang on time! 2 weeks ahead on this one, poured the slab during the storm, the lads floated it to 10pm, fair play to them. Frame going up next week Area completed on this one yesterday, 3500m2 overclad, in the dry for Xmas Finley has been taking the lead on this one, really pleased with him, hope to f**k he keeps at it so I can retire lol1 point
