Forensics on the round? Look up who legally owns one with in say 50 m radius...there's plenty of legally owned guns in this country...with complete f***ing clowns pulling the trigger ,I wouldn't trust with a cap gun6 points

I was the judge and gave it “Champion Lurcher” , based solely on looks, condition, conformation and temperament. Its impossible to judge on working ability unless you have personally seen the dog working. Lurcher Shows are just a bit of fun, support your local hunt, meeting up with mates, seeing dogs and having a craic in the summer. Anyone who doesn’t like them isn’t forced to attend ! LOL ! Heard a bit about this on the radio earlier, somehow they managed to mention hare coursing in the mix.. I turned to my lad and said how the f**k does that even get mentioned! The silly c**ts who've done it don't give a shit obviously, but it shows the media cogs in motion, will chuck everyone under the bus!5 points

There was a thread up a while ago about kids dropping deer with catapults complete with pictures lol ,a lot of it is just the drip drip of misinformation heading towards the end goal of totally disarming everyone, carrying a walking stick will be next , but on a more serious note I would air on the vendetta theory like that tree on Adrian’s wall4 points

First part of the job finished, yard stone down and rolled, road planings down and rolled on the driveway and a bit of light pruning around the house. She’s now asked for a price to remove all the sheeting from the sides of the shed and re-do it with Yorkshire boarding, I can’t imagine that being cheap3 points

Snap on is not worth the money anymore, drastic drop off in quality now most of it is made in asia, a hell of a lot of my gear is over 30 years old and takes some punishment, the newer stuff keeps breaking and getting replaced, when I get fed up of changing tools I say sod it and try another make. There are many that now make better tools than snap on3 points

I have never measured or known my fork size lol if it feels nice in the hand and hits what you point at that will do especially with nattys though I do tend to like smaller frames3 points

Could buy a couple of bullet guns, for what you've wasted tarting that up...I can honestly say, these FX tactical looking guns do f**k all for me... bought a cheap armetis M30 in 1.77...a few tweaks and it's knocking over all sorts, and I don't look like no f***ing paintballers or likely to be shot by armed response3 points

Mine done everything you wanted them to do mate,I only put the whippet blood in to bring the size down. The pup I kept had its 1st roe at 11mths old,but they are know to be late matures and people who have had them, want a world beater at 12mths old thinking they mature like ya bullx and others. But like chats says you get good and bad in all breeds.2 points

a little 8 k @chartpolski im coming this summer a rosette and to smoke some whippets lol 100 meters aint very far like i can sprint that lol2 points
-
Chartpolski to me the only place to judge a lurcher is in the field to be honest with you thats for any type of running dog or terrier hound wasn't having a dig at you or what you picked out as you said you can only pick by what you can see...but sometimes these folks bred and keep dogs to spend the summer hunting a bag of dog food and a trophy at a show and bred out of dirt and people wonder why there's so much dirt around the country and yes your right the shows are for a bit of craic and fun over summer and yes I attend one or two but see really for what it is I'd rather a kid win or2 points

Good grief some of the kit you chaps are churning out im surprised you aint been dragged through the divorce courts if i pitched up for a night out in some of this Scooby Doo turn out there'd be no counselling,no trial separation it would be straight to divorce !2 points

It's still a nice looking animal. I never mentioned anything about it being champion.2 points

No mate I,m just all wrong I hold the frame in the wrong hand and my elastics long so as long as my elastic touch,s the tip of my nose and I look along the elastic I’m good to go, move the anchor point up or down a few mil between frames if ness, just got a new scout put a tin on the fence for a few shots hit the fence in the same spot but bellow the tin lower a few mil and straight through the tin then two woodies on my walk I spent most of my life with stick forks which I guess just makes you adapt the milbro came out but we couldn’t afford one, so a two pence boot tongue pouch and two foot2 points
-
I seem to be a bit more accurate with the 95mm wasp apex and 9.5 steels. Never shot tubes but my mate swears by them on a millbro frame and he won't shoot anything else and his kill rate and accuracy is very good. My problem is with having a variety of frames is practising and using the one frame all the time.2 points

I never lamped my whippet/deer/grey but she was the best daytime rabbit/ferreting dog I ever owned. She had a soft side from the deerhound and was a great companion but at the same time a fearless hunter and didn't hesitate to grab pigs if we ran into some. She had to be worked at least weekly but we usually hunted around three times a week.2 points

With some foods from the manufacturers don't inform the truth of what's, in their products some of the information is not understood by some people the ingredients is complex with things you never heard of before listing's of additives you find mumble jumble or the food is not made in the uk2 points

I’ve had a deer/grey/whippet. Absolutely rapid. Natural retreiver. She didn’t use her nose much and she died young on the lamp unfortunately.2 points

The worrying thing about it is someone is running around with a high calibre rifle who isn’t fit to own it if legal and if illegal what are they going to shoot next, just another nail in the coffin for legal gun owners watch them clamp down yet again on licensing.2 points

This one was from Ireland; sired by the non-ped whippet/greyhound Memphis Belle, out of a deerhound bitch; Cheers.2 points

I can’t see anyone who has gone through the legal route to get an FAC stupid enough to risk loosing it by shooting someone’s alpacas they have had a falling out with mate ..they’d put themselves front and centre on plods inquiry board ..I’d run with the silly cnut theory ..2 points

Like most others, there’s good and bad. They are very easy going and easy to live with. Of course there will be better rabbiting dogs, hare dogs, fox dogs, deer dogs, but I’ve found deer/greys can do all that to an acceptable degree without being the absolute best. They are also pleasing to the eye. In looks and style of running. They almost invariably breed true to type, so you’ll have a good idea of what you’re getting. They can be very slow to mature, but I’ve had some that were doing their job at 12 months. You pay your money and take your chances ! Cheers.2 points
