Trip to Tsukiji fish market this morning, this was the biggest fish market in the world and the record tuna was sold here for over 3m dollars, the main trading market is a few miles up.the road in Toshyo but a lot of the produce is brought here and put through the food outlets...what an experience, if you like seafood this is as good as it gets, mainly locals eating svd walking round, but I can imagine it would be full of tourists in the high season...amazing.. I've always loved frogs and newts. Wherever I've been living in the country, I don't think I've ever not paid a visit to a likely looking pond come springtime to check out the local population. I've given over my garden to wildlife and have built two wildlife ponds. There's been a gale here all day. Good conditions for amphibians. So as soon as it got dark, I had a wander in the garden. I counted 19 frogs in both ponds. But I came across this pair on dry land.Some males lie in wait for females outside the pond so they have first grab at returning females. This wee guy was successful

What an absolute shit storm what I think is that the people etc who passed through when it was ft liberty etc , will have the name of that on such trivial things as course photographs , T shirts , certificates etc . they may be a third generation paratrooper/ ranger as these things run in cycles .
