Dont come on here too much anymore so no doubt that most of you I don't know but a happy new year to you anyway, in particular the ones that I have made friends with over the years or those that have helped/advised me along the way. I won't be staying up to see it in, I will be up early and out with the dogs and then back sorting the pigs.....thankfully that's nearly over!!!! All the best to you all.10 points

All sorted hopefully, we have been fully flooded years ago. But hopefully none will get inn. I just feel sorry for the other little businesses, they have been struggling a bit and don't need this. Am going to message them and offer to go and help clean up later.9 points

They are lively fookers as pups mate and into everything just like any other terrier but they adapt to any life style and can be hard workers to.Ive laughed over the years on here on the border threads saying they don’t graft till they are 3yrs old.Thats because they have listened to the village idiots who have never had 1 or probably seen 1 graft.Treat them like ya normal terriers and get them out on rats from 6mths old and following ya other dogs and they will be dug to from a year old if brought in right mate.Ive had them for 35yrs now and hard so thats to hard like any other terrier even f5 points

She sent me home with some leftover curry goat she had in the fridge and some breaded prawns with chilli and onions she had left so that's ended up on the plate with the oxtail and rice n peas.Thats left me with enough oxtail and rice for another feed tomorrow.5 points

Pork loin today with a cider gravy, absolutely lovely, I’ve got a big chunk of pork left so it could be a pork stew tomorrow unless I can come up with a better idea4 points

Surely any c**t who drives a motor indiscriminately into a crown of people with the intention of killing and maiming complete strangers is a terrorist. Regardless of where they come from4 points

The dog was actually slipped by Cambridge way and the lads chased it to Leicestershire trying to catch it up and they would of had it 2 if it weren't for them meddling cops4 points

Water and coffee , drank far too ofter the last 10 years and its became a daily bad habit. Few cans every night with the occasional piss up. Decided its time for a break. Day 17 and the cravings have just about subsided......I think. The temptation is still there.3 points

Same old shit every year tbh just to paint people that work dogs in a bad light. Look at the penalties given and extra charges that would be pinned on a guy for running a dog if he was nabbed and had his collar was felt these days it’s more than likely a stretch if the dude has previous for dog or any other unrelated activities who would blame a guy for bolting and the dog left behind if he’s got family to support at home your no good inside I’m sure the owner of this dog would rather have the dog in his possession. But is this really what’s happened or is it a media smear campaign against peo3 points

Good evening pal. Unfortunately you are not the only one not posting lately. I miss, very much, what we had those years ago. There are a few who still let us know what’s going on. Most of the ferreting and lurcher guys have gone very quiet which I’m guessing is the lack of rabbits. Surely there are pockets still being worked. One of my mates in Scotland is still getting a few. Yes, Ted's dogs were lovely Norfolk Lurcher style animals,. .they definitely had the film star looks, as did many other's that were around at the time. Ted was very coursing orientated,.. he had little use for a Moucher's type of animal My own thinking was a bit different,. .I demanded that my Smithfield 'look-a-likes' acted and behaved, in the manner of their original Herding ancestor....for,. if they were not tractable and easily schooled,.. then for me,.. the entire project would have been a waste of fecking time.... I freely admit,.. I failed abysmally on several occasions, and some2 points

Genuinely straight off the BBC website. Apparently there’s a puddle in Inverness and some wheelie bins down in Invergordon. Well that puts the 220+ deaths in Valencia a few weeks ago right into perspective!2 points
