As you know Francie they were more than willing to let my mother waste away in a hospital bed before letting her out to us to be looked after properly. Who knows how many poor souls were left to die that had no family fighting their corner.

Maybe its just me but these days i think we make a mockery of such memorials/remembrances.......to act proud for 1 day of the year and spend the other 364 days of the year in shameful embarrassment and fear of being in any way patriotic just reeks of deceit......its how you live your life and the standards you uphold that truly shows respect to those old boys not how you act for 1 day.

Caught 3 o' clock this morning on the fly. Making my way home I saw roe deer, an otter and a kingfisher, not forgetting old nag the heron. What a way to start the day. Brought my Mrs a cup of tea and warmed my hands on her bum. Sea trout 4 lbs.

100%, have look on Facebook, it embarrassing reading it. They say 10 month pitx grey started catching well, need smaller dog. What a load of crap. 1st it 10 month old, it still not developed physically yet, take 2 years more so bullx, it not little beddy whippet. It deff got worse with alot of these young people. Don't get wrong, you always had dog swapers even when I started near 40 years ago. But atleast they put bit graft in to the dog couple seasons etc, not 8-10 month old pup. I glad iam out of it now, the deff fooked now, and it only worse with more dreamers in it.

Know what pal. I can’t speak more highly about the service I’ve just had. To be fair my health has not been good and I was concerned. I had an assessment on my cataract 4 weeks ago and last Wednesday had the operation. Eye drops 3 times a day for 3 weeks and job done. I had my psa blood tests come through within a week and lo and behold it has reduced. Am at ease now. Jok.

Yeah,all I want to see is the compass screen & a directional arrow pointing the way to the dog & to let me know how far away & the Dogtrace does that superbly..were I advising anyone to buy a tracking collar I'd advise them to buy the Dogtrace,it does what needs doing & does it well,no bells no whistles but it's the lightest collar & like you say the best for any size of dog..cheers for the input matey.

Sorry to hear about your fall Ray,...it sometimes seems that when you get old,...one terrible thing happens in your life,. and gets followed on by another Now that I have lost a few stone, I am still fairly fit , but the jolly old Osteoarthritis can kick in as and when it chooses, and then,...you ain't going nowhere AS for the dogs,...well, I've said that I am done and dusted so many times, but like a druggie, I have invariably succumbed to the call of the wild, or been tempted by the offer of a fat and juicy pup.....but,...you have to call a halt sometime.... I miss the h
