  5. Wilder has always been an extremely poor boxer, last few fights he looks shot... yes he had that big right hand, but that was it, Fury beat him fair and square, but I always thought the fights were a mess and couldn't see the big boxing IQ others did in Fury off the back of those fights... Wilder seems a decent bloke and I hope he stops now as there's nothing left for him imo

  6. They looked like he never new what to do with them to me, massively over rated and exposed when he stopped knocking out bums, also emphasise that fury ain’t that good as well getting put on the floor so many times by the noodle legged fraud

  9. Wicked disease and a long lingering death. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. He bore it with much bravery, putting himself in the public eye when he was a shadow of what he’d once been. As said, hopefully his sacrifice, like that of big Doddie Weir, will bring about a cure sooner rather than later. RIP Rob Burrow.

  10. I do believe that is very true, Often I would get a call about a single rabbit, camped up handy to somebodies garden, that they wanted to be removed. In that case, I'd only drop out the one dog, a Jack Russell x springer who was a great rounder. Once in heavy cover, if he pushed the rabbit, he would bounce up in the air with all four legs folded up like an airliner. Happy had been used one out for many years, off and on, even though he wasn't a very fast dog, he made up for it with his bag of tricks. One that springs to mind was his habit of pushing a rabbit hiding in cover forward, then retre

  16. You don’t have to feel guilt tripped about this stuff imho mate, it’s all fashionable now these marches and fair play to the lads that make the effort I’m not knocking them. But the fact is it’s all a fairly recent development. Id rather nobody went to marches and went out and voted instead (which I’m sure many do) but you get my drift. 10,000 at a march ain’t making much of a dent against the million of your own betraying you but at least they are having a go……but my point is, don’t feel guilty about not sticking up for people who by and large won’t stick up for themselves, you

  18. He even managed to get a picture of Mrs Flattops hair with a George cross flapping in her face lol, to be fair it was a great day but the way the media portray to actually what happened on the ground is a million miles apart they kept reporting nine arrests which was nothing to do with this march it was something to do with some youth movement protest. A little memorable bit for me was an elderly lady in a wheelchair who was obviously not in the best of health and had been taken to the side of the road by her family near I think Lambeth Bridge she was clapping and cheering and you could s

  31. My head is beginning to droop, and my eyes getting heavy. Cocoa time. Last time I stayed up,this late for boxing was in 1955 when Don Cockell fought Rocky Marciano . I listened to it on the radio with my brothers and my dad. Cockell weighed 141/2 stone and Marciao 131/2. I cried when the brit lost and my old man told me not to be soft. It was a bad night.

  32. I had a few drinks with the Dortmund fans when they played Newcastle; an excellent bunch of lads. I had them in some of the roughest bars in the Toon and even had them drinking Newcastle Brown Ale. They arranged to meet my nephew and his mates in Dortmund for the away game and look after them, which they did. Cheers.

  33. The demographic of the crowd was leaning towards middle aged/elderly,people who have seen better times and have fear of what’s ahead, myself included, yesterday realistically is probably going to change jack shit, but unless we try we don’t know,I left part iament square and crossed the river no union jacks over there,an interesting statistic 50% of social housing in London is rented by people not born in the UK,London 2024 the future of the country.

  36. I agree to a point mate, but other than Ortiz for the first 40 fights who did he fight? Ortiz completely out boxed him until he was caught with that big right hand, then Fury beat him up.. I think you're bang on that his opponents feared his power, but they just weren't good enough to expose his multitude of weaknesses...no axe to grind though, he produced some great 1 punch knockouts, I don't think he'll be remembered as a great fighter but he produced some memorable moments..

  37. Rubbish boxer but opponents used to stand off him for fear of his big punch. Now he's been exposed, opponents take the fight to him and he's hopeless. He is a genuine warrior though. When he picks himself off the floor after being badly hurt he genuinely wants to fight on.

  44. Just my opinion, but it may be what Man U had but have now lost; the “fear factor”. Any team going up against Real Madrid may have a psychological disadvantage and not play with the confidence they would against other teams. As I say, just my opinion. At least my grandson will be happy, he called me to try and convince his mother to let him stay up to watch the game even though it’s a school day tomorrow, he will go to bed happy ! Cheers.
