A man walks into a bar, notices a very large jar on the counter and sees that it's filled to the brim with £10 bills. He guesses there must be at least ten thousand pounds in it. He approaches the bartender and asks, "What's with the money in the jar?" "Well..., you pay £10, and if you pass three tests, you get all the money in the jar and the keys to a brand new Lexus" The man certainly isn't going to pass this up, so he asks, "What are the three tests?" "You gotta pay first," says the bartender, "those are the rules." So, after thinking it over a while, the man gives the bartender £10 w11 points

Pied d'honneur Foot of honor, a tradition of venery in France. When the hunt has been good, to pay tribute to a participant, the Master can give him a foot of the animal. The foot is braided.8 points

I used to trim cork to the shape of a chum mixer for surface fishing, it’s all I used. Had fish to 30lb off the top that way, used to do a lot of surface fishing because frankly, other people didn’t ! For some reason most carp anglers can’t seem to get their head round surface fishing. 30lb common off the top on a bit of cork.7 points

Yeah, if it’s anything like the 10 minute courses and 500 yard slips, it’ll of been 19lb, not 59lb ! LOL ! Cheers.7 points

Definitely, not sure how long the records been held, but it's around 45 pound... the best specimen anglers in the country have spent lifetimes trying to catch a 50...old McHull saw one pulled out of the church pond...f***ing brilliant..lol7 points

There's a Pub not far from me that specialises in two in one pies, always has cauliflower cheese at one end. So I thought I would have a crack at one. Chicken pie at one end Cauliflower cheese at the other. All turn out good so I'm chuffed. Cheers Arry5 points

This, to me, is a perfect dinner! Meat, potatoes, colourful veg and gravy. The sort of stuff that would, if eaten every day, vastly improve the health of this nation. Now, don't get me wrong, I love all sorts of food, healthy, home grown, raw, junk, fresh, fried, processed......all of it! But, I wonder what most kids are being fed on these days? Are those of you who are parents, teaching your kids by example what to eat and how to grow/source and cook it? I fear that a lot of kids, well even those in their 20s and 30s, who are now raising the next generation, have lost that ability to nou4 points

Appreciate that thanks n yeh it was brilliant both of them loved n obviously I did to but tbh coming back without them on the train after taking them back to London was horrible like a big come down or something. I also got in trouble with there mum as bodhi wanted a he-man sword n toy gun so after explaining the dos n don't I got them him I didn't see the problem not even a nerf gun or a spud gun I'm used to going on shoots n seeing kids about with real guns having a go on real birds but she took this toy off him. Anyway so there coming again tomorrow and I'll have them for a week i4 points
