I don’t mean this as a dig at anyone, it’s a genuine thought so here gos….. Actually, who gives a f**k or why do we give a f**k ?……. The U.K. is absolutely f****d, as in f****d !……I was talking to my pal in Canada last night and telling him not to visit back because it would just break his heart…..or completely validate his decision to f**k off over a decade ago, either way, it would leave him bitter like it makes me bitter. Highest tax ever Unrecognisable communities An air of 3rd world socially about everything Dirty pavements Empty shops People loo18 points

Tax has never been higher, car insurance has doubled as far as I can tell. They're getting more than their pound of flesh whilst we live in austerity swamped with illegal migrants....an underfunded society with open doors to the third world.9 points

Up and about early this morning in preparation for the big freeze that won’t materialise into more than a few frosts, filled my log store, emptied the ash bin, filled the water tank then walked the dogs to the farm up the road for some proper thick cut bacon and free range eggs all done and dusted by midday9 points

Personally I’ve never seen a dog that can do all UK quarry to a decent standard, every good dog I’ve seen has had strong points and weak points. Even the ones that could turn their hand to a lot of different tasks were poor at at least one quarry. I think if you spend your life looking for the mythical all rounder you’re in for a lot of disappointment8 points

I wrote this about 25 years ago, when we were f***ing about in our first band.. Can't remember the end of verse 2, and there may have been a 3rd verse... was playing the guitar the other night and it popped in my head...not played it for years. It was called Immigaration... seems more apt now than back then to be honest.. V1 Can you hear the whispering, I can feel unrest, A nation that is 'wakening with issues to contest No more the minority, it seems our shores are being swamped, And in this tiny country, I'm staring to feel a little cramped.7 points

You've hit the nail on the head Mc with Israel & Palestine ie gaza. Let them crack on with it. This what's happening in the red sea if we'd of Just left it. China & India would of had a say mostly because its their trade. I've always said before them b*****ds needed us not us needing them. Look what they've built from the west doing trade. All this cheap shit we buy or have made over in China. The money helps them build the military up. Just like ours did back in the day most things were made in britian not no more. We've f****d up big time. Was watching a video clip this morning of a6 points

My mum lost our Mo a few months ago and she’s a bit lonely in the house without a bit of company. If anyone has an old dog needing a good home. Has to be calm, as my mum has disabilities. She needs a companion. Dog has a garden and fields to run about on (she has a dedicated dog walker). Taking on a young one isn’t an option. I just need something that’s gonna have it’s walks and then chill out on the sofa next to her.5 points

I've just messaged a mate of mine, we had a cracking retired terrier off him. She's the sort of dog that would be perfect for you mum. Just happy on a couch all day, never puts a foot wrong.5 points

I would disagree with a lot of what lurcherman has written.... Cholesterol is not just one thing....there's HDL ...LDL...triglycerides....there's a whole bunch more to it... I do agree about not getting on statins though But saturated fat is not the enemy it was once supposed to be... There are millions of people out there now living on carnivore diets and doing very well with extreme high levels of LDL Cholesterol they should be dead but of course there not... There's now loads of info out there and plenty of doc's on YouTube if you can't be arsed to look at scientifi5 points

They'll try and push statins on you , it's your call if you take them or not but do some research, better off going the natural route through diet adjustment, not all fat is bad neither is cholesterol , eggs, dairy and meat all good in moderation...no need to be a fanny tracking your food and that5 points

Hoping to sell up and move somewhere rural when the kids are finished with school. Always had an interest in birds and picture myself whiling away my twilight years feeding and watching a myriad of bird species in a mature garden. When I was a kid sparrows and stuckies (starlings) were all I’d get in the garden. Things are better now, and after a mental tally, think i could name maybe 30 species I’ve seen this year in the garden. Not brilliant but keeps me interested and putting grub out for them.5 points

My sister in law threatened to kick her sons out of the house if they didn't get jabbed and my brother sat and said nothing, he probably agreed with her but stayed out of it. The propaganda really did get under the skin of the majority of people.4 points

I think there's a houthi demo up in town today in conjunction with a pro Palestinian one, this is England 2024.Just make sure your children are well educated with options but the world is going to be a whole lot crazier in the future.4 points

Charity starts at home.....theres people living next too/down the road ,from every single one of us...who need the help more than some f***ing sand niggers in some far away place ....call me heartless, but Ive no interest in helping little Ahmed or his sister collect water from a well,or saving every f***ing stray dog/cat/donkey/bear....look after your own , before you help anyone...fullstop...4 points

That’s the thing we all said all along, I have people friend’s extended family who had this jab so it’s definitely a touchy subject. my cousin for example he never took it but his 14 and 18 year old kids did, got to watch what you say about it cos there his kids but at the same time how f***ing stupid do you get ? Don’t take it yourself but let your kids ??? Madness.4 points

Marty’s sister could boogy a bit. She put some stuff to bed in her unfortunately short career but, as they say every run could be their last and they need to be running to be pleasing. The condition she was kept in was always fit and it showed.4 points

Maurice and Eddie great grand sire and great uncle to Morty. I always liked this picture as they are in their prime year's in fit condition at the end of a hard season. Happy memories of the graft I put into them and how hard they paid me back.4 points

Some nice dogs there Joe. I think you’ve summed up the majority of the lurcher world though, whether they go out day or night most can’t seem to help but crab other peoples dogs, tell lies and exaggerate Thats not aimed at you @mC HULL just generalising4 points

As we have not heard from Mark for some time now, I sent him a New Year greeting and to see how he was, well all is not well as our Mark has had a very serious stroke which has left him very ill. Mark's wife, Kath, very kindly responded for Mark and rather than me trying to cover Mark's condition, I will post Kath's reply to me so you all know how he is. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kath's reply to me :- Hi Phil, This is Kath Marks wife, Mar3 points

Seems that way mate, not a great deal coming out about the success of the vaccines just more and more negatives, scary times for some, I never actually wanted to be right about my vax suspicions as it will affect many good people we all know and love, but it’s getting harder and harder to ignore the truth3 points

Seem to come and go in stages, nesting season I was getting a few bullies and greenies, hardly ever see them on my feeders now. My record at one time was 9 long tail tits on the fat ball feeder at once. Cheers, D.3 points
