Sad yes and another nail in the coffin of fieldsports....but the shooting world did need its wings clipping. Alot of shooters aren't sportsmen...they are shooters, nothing more. The shooting of pheasants in huge numbers by people who wouldn't know a dog or a ferret if one bit the end of their nose and the wholesale shooting of foxes with military hardware has put me off shoots. And that's coming from someone who has done plenty shooting and keepering

Cracking weekend again, as I left for Hampshire and work at 5-30 this morning, the hardcore were still at it around the fire, good effort lads and lasses ? As always a great time was had by all, huge thanks to Kev and everyone else who does so much to make it the success it is. Looking forward to next year ?

Got soaked today for two birds with a muzzleloader. ?

So I'm just on the east coast for a few days and a rumour arose of something snaffling folks dogs out the surf in fact the locals was terrified, so off I went wi a light beachcaster and a few ragworm see if I could help them out before someone got hurt ,well an hour in I was starting 2 think they were having me on till the reel screamed off ,4 hours into the fight I was starting 2 wish I ant hooked it but luckily I've bin walking up wi me lurchers abit and me stamina is black ops level ,anyroad the locals couldn't thank me enough and of course all the local birds wanted 2 sleep wi me on the ba

True most of them just drive out of London with thier rangerover and blast away. But it will also effect some of the smaller syndicate type conservation shoots.I love it when people say I’m cruel shooting pheasants and I say I’m a conservationist really!!! They laugh and say why you kill birds???? Well I reply we buy 600 birds shoot around 150/200 so the rest go on to breed etc,all our feeders support other birds in harsh weather, are wild bird cover feeds songbirds,our maize feeds badgers what the f**k do you do to support birds??????

This is a nice little cheap tent of mine the Alpkit Soloist, I think there only about £120 ish. Really light, but a small one man tent. I was happy with it

Results are in: Winner- Robbo (again) 2nd - Seb (fishery owners plant) ? 3rd - White Van Man's youngest lad, fishing was hard with only about 3 or 4 lb. between the top 3, think Robbo's weight was 12lb 10 Oz. Wooden spoon was won by SheepChaser. Great time had by all, big thanks to Kev (Newkid) and all the family at the fishery for making us so welcome yet again and to Sean C for doing the auctioneering, assisted by Olly. Nice to see a few new faces including Johnny Boy's partner. Cheers, D.

I thought I’d present you with my interpretation of “Benbhoy and the love of his life”. I just let my imagination run wild and really let my creative juices flow , I was very happy with he results. ……. I’ve got an exhibition next month , im sharing a gallery with Hunter Biden . This is an original art work . I did it on my notes and screen shot it . I’m going to make sure that nobody tries to copy if for financial gain .

Nothing happening here other than an old terrier out for a walk. Used to run hares on this land but no more. Even if the law had not changed the simple fact is that the hares no longer exist here. But the sight and the smell of harvested fields still evokes a sense of anticipation, the change of the seasons.
