My earliest memories are of my fathers English coonhounds. We hunted from mules. These mules were bred from a pony to a jack. They could hop a fence. We hauled them in the bed of a pick up truck.. Mule truck in the background.I owned a coon lamp before i owned a pair of shoes lol.. Pics of pics sorry for quality.10 points

Went a bit mad today having a day to myself corned beef and potato pie ( for work ) cod fish cakes in panko breadcrumbs ( tea tonight) courgette and Parmesan soup ( starter for tonight) wholemeal seeded soda bread ( will be toasted and rubbed with garlic to go with the soup ) if she’d let me retire this could be what she comes home to every day, I tried the soup, it’s very nice ?9 points

Callous as it may sound, there shouldn't be a stray coming into this country from abroad when our own shelters are full to bursting.8 points

I was at a local show yesterday and got talking to a lady with a coonhound. I didn't get a pic, but it was very much like this "stock photo"; I'd never seen one in this country before, but the lady said they are starting to get popular. Probably as pets, as I can't see much use for them in the field here. Still, it was very interesting, to me, to see one and have a chat about it. If they do get popular, how long before the woke lefties demand a name change ? Cheers.7 points

At the moment the police can't do anything with them, partly because they're a largely ineffective laughing stock. Those mob rush thieving chimpouts are done at a moments notice so, the police can't get numbers there - even if they could, their hands are tied. They daren't have one getting injured or popping it's clogs in their custody - London would burn again and the newspapers would have a field day with 'racist copper' stories. They can't even stop and search them for looking dodgy ffs. And to top it off, those little c**ts are allowed to breed more litt7 points

was struggling a few years ago for enough ferrets (had a trip booked for the Highlands following season) someone I know ordered some EU polecat hybrids,I put my name down for one, cost me £40...I put my albino hob over it,had a nice litter of 12 kits, all poley colours ,they were wild, would hiss , fast as f**k and would also nip like f**k,for the first 2 seasons they would kill every rabbit that didn't bolt?dug the one first season hob at almost 10 ft up in avimore ? little prick was giving it, in and outty with the rabbit every time I tried to grab him, while the boys laughed at me,shoot the5 points

Not callous at all, just plain common sense. But it’s actually worse than that in my opinion. A whole industry has been created with dog rescues from outside the UK, which is every bit as bad if not worse than the puppy factories in Ireland etc. Sister in law got a wee dog from Romania earlier this year, proper bitsa-mix thing, with a terrible over bite. Other than a couple of photos, she never clapped eyes on it till she’d paid over £400 and it was dropped off by some dodgy looking cnut in a van. Thing is she genuinely thinks she’s saved this wee thing’s neck, whereas in reality she’s ju5 points

To me it's going backwards it took hundreds of year of breeding to take the wild out of ferrets. Only to breed it back in again. Cheers Arry3 points

That’s a weird trait of the British mate, like with the Insulate Britain protestors and Stop Oil protestors, we are happy to jump in with both feet and want our own ironed out but when it comes to a few darkies we won’t say boo to a goose. Just my humble opinion3 points

Many years ago whilst laming a golf course in Worcester, we had stopped for a fag break and to let the dog take 5. We were sat under an old oak and the dog shot forward in the dark, lamp on and it was a polecat Gill with something in her mouth, the dog was steady to our ferrets so didn't touch her but she dropped the item. It turned out to be a kit, eyes still closed. It was slipped into a pocket and taken to a pal who had a Gill with a litter, most of which she'd lost. He was brought up alongside the remainder in an open fronted large hutch, whilst all the others were inquisitive and forward3 points

Up at the shoot first thing this morning, bird scare tape up around the pens, elec fences on and tested, water on and drinkers tested and adjusted, water butts filled again over the piggeries, I had little Hugo with me so after he cleared grass and sticks from around the fence wire he had a bit of target practice with the little rat catcher, he’s getting to be a good shot ?3 points

They were used for various reasons, but as a member of traincrew I would have (and did) use them to protect the train if it had derailed or broken down. They would be laid at various distances from the train, with the furthest being 3 laid 20 yards apart. If a driver exploded 3 dets. they would bring the train to a stand. Also used singly to bring the drivers attention to an emergency speed restriction. The protection of engineering work sites etc.2 points
