My own grandfather on my dad's side, was a spitfire pilot. Who got shot down and survived to tell the tale. He was 19 or 20 years old. He passed away when I was young. What I do remember is the side of his face was scared with shrapnel and that he never talked about the war and said it was nothing to be glorified. He later went on to become a fairly successful businessman in his own right and owned a few one being a high end wine merchant's. When I as was young he gifted me his wings and dog tags and they sit in my office on the wall. According to Google the average life expectancy of a spit7 points

The rise of UKIP forced Cameron to give us a referendum on the EU, he was confident that it would be a "Remain" majority, but we proved him wrong, and it cost him his job. He would never have given us a referendum if UKIP hadn't won the EU elections and got four million votes in the UK election. Sadly, due to our "first passed the post" voting system, UKIP's votes didn't turn into seats, but scared the shit out of the mainstream parties, so yes, voting can bring change, maybe not to who's in charge, but maybe to the way they think ? Continuing on I spotted the foxy red coat of a deer in the next field with head down ....up came its head revealing a buck so the stalk was on? I stalked down the hedge , crossed through the hedge and was around 100 yards away. On the bipod I had to wait until he moved a few yards forward to reveal his shoulder and down he went . Into the next field which was topped grass I placed out the caller 70 yds away and lay in the field. 3 minutes into cub call and a dog fox came flying in and sat down 50 yds short of the caller staring at it. Now I was looking at 12 o clock and the fox was s5 points

The vote does count, even voting for the main parties, (although I'll probably be voting for an independent or the Reform Party). The confidence vote yesterday was for a variety of reasons; least of all "partygate", many Tory MP's used that as an excuse for personal greivances against Boris. The Spartans voted against Boris because they think he isn't going far or fast enough with Brexit. The Remainers, and there's many of them in the Tory party, think " if Boris goes......Brexit goes". The "Red Wall" Torys , who owe their seats entirely to Boris, think he's now toxic with4 points

Serious question what difference who ever is in power what difference would it make to their life's. For me nothing it's one of the reasons i am not bothered so much about politics these days as i believe the job's fecked anyway and its foolish to rely on any of them.4 points

I have used compost, no nutes whatsoever from beginning to end and finished the crop, used every combination you can possibly think of and some you probably couldn't, everyone has their fave nutrient regime, I have fried 2500 seedlings by using soil that was too hot for them, f****d the project up totally, done all sorts of mistakes and had all sorts of successes, nowadays it's the old maxim less is best.3 points

Totally agree mate who ever is running the country non of the fekers will be of any benefit to an ordinary working class bloke like me who just plods on like the majority of folk around me that's seen a change for the worse I could have never imagined 40 years ago.2 points

The “country” are by and large as thick as shit pal, they actually believe most of the shit that gets spurted out……like my old area, no matter how bad it gets the New Labour Tory party could put a donkey up for election and those dozy c**ts would elect it.2 points

Hello mate I’ve couple of parks bitchs here would be interested how’s he bread thank tigger2 points

I don’t think it’s got much to do with how “good” the Tory wing of new Labour is, it’s as much a reflection on just how bad Labour is really…….2 points

I was talking to my boy last night (no doubt boring the pants off him ! Lol) and saying how lads barely a couple of years older than him had spent that day 78 years ago getting their kit ready, climbing into boats and gliders and aircraft. Airborne forces took off at 11:30 last night all them years ago, they were the first on the ground. I always think what thoughts and feeling were going through their head and just the general character of them to be going and doing that for a world they thought worth it. Its humbling mate, well to me it is anyway ?2 points
