  1. CATS. Fcuking hate the things! I actually don’t hate the cats but our society’s hypocrisy when compared with dog ownership. Let your dog chase a hare, the most natural scenario in the world, and you’re a criminal. Some estimate that cats kill tens of millions of birds and small mammals in the UK each year, and barely a word said.., or worse, squeamish cat owners laughing at how puss keeps bringing dead stuff to the door. Imagine ten million dogs let out every night to go hunting alone.., there wouldn’t be deer, fox, hare or rabbit etc. left in the land. Dog owners can be fined (right

  8. Well after being stuck in the house all weekend I was dying to be out mooching , the freezer is low on dog meat for Bert so I decided to look for some rabbits. On arrival at my chosen destination the weather was far from perfect , half moon and clear sky but to be honest I was glad to be out in the cold fresh air. I put in quite a few miles and managed to fill my game bag , shots were a bit farther than normal as rabbits very spooky but made for challenging shooting ..... Bert now fed for a few weeks ?

  9. The size of these ships is beyond. From march we are allowed to take two bass a day home caught angling. I never could understand the point of that. You might catch 4 one day and nothing for the next month. No shore angler is going to make any sort of dent compared to a trawler. Size limits are a good thing though and to be honest an upper size limit would do no harm as far as bass go at least

  13. Stood at my Grand Daughters grave today as its a year ago she left us. This is the strange coincident I look across the river and I can see where I put my youngest lads ashes on a permission I have. This little natural grave yard was not even there when I put his ashes in the ground weird how thing turn out. There is a mound in-between two wood. Looking back from where my Lad is to the Grave Yard right across the river. Cheers Arry

  16. It says hake in the report, but I wondered why they would dump hake (I know they are saying ripped net, bullshit!! lol)... think your right mate, a huge haul of "worthless fish" so dump them.... what these super trawlers do to the worlds seas is crazy!!

  18. The cloddy ones arnt worth anything, but thats down to poor breeding/selection. Many of these types are infected with Mastiff or Bulldog or some crap. Im talking about the real thing that has everything.

I was in the rfd last Tuesday to zero one of my air rifles on their in house 25mt range, my turn to make the coffees for everyone and returning into the main shop, I saw this guy who was wanting to sell his semi auto shotgun, it didn't really interest me and I just carrried on drinking my coffee BUT then I noticed this gun had a ceracote barrel (like the look of that), interest started to be raised......... I had an interesting adventure today but struggled with pictures.I took my boat to a river where the quarry is very educated.Got the boat anchored and started walking through a swamp.I seen an otter swimming with a fish in its mouth at the other end of the swamp. Finally made it there.Otter bolts and goes deeper in the swamp instead of going towards the river as is normal. I started to walk around a beaver pond hoping the terrier could pick up the scent. Terrier entered under a tree.Otter bolted. At this point i lost his bubble trail.I circled the swamp trying to relocate him but

  28. I've always thought the size limit was back to front personally, why take the bigger breeding stock? Personally I think taking nothing over say 44 cm would be the better bet and then the breeding fish get a chance to breed, particular as bass are a slow growing species... the nursery zones down here are alive with scholies though.
