Wouldn’t call mine a fox dog, far from it but he has and will retrieve Charlie. Only 21”TTS, plenty of whippet in him. But he deffo couldn’t do it night after night and wouldn’t expect him to.8 points

Lets be honest how many bull crosses could do 3 or 4 in a night 3/4 times a week?I spent many years lamping regularly with different lads with bull crosses containing all the famous lines you hear about on here and I never saw many despite all the bollocks Id been told.Im talking single handed walked up not chasing them across a field in a motor and chucking multiple dogs out8 points

So...... I have a question and I’m looking for honest answers. We hear it a lot on here and I’m sure there are lads at it. But how many folk on here either have or do, catch 3-4 foxes a night, 3-4 nights a week through the season. With same dog /s. That’s 40-50 foxes a month, so September - feb would be 240-300 foxes a season with same dog / s. Can anyone honestly say they have owned it known a dog that’s caught 200-300 Charlie a season and how many seasons did it do? Because a dog with a four year working life like that would be doing 1000 foxes. Just asking ........7 points

By and large mate, modern teachers are absolutely brilliant. In the U.K. most of them are going above and beyond for kids every single day of the week, many staying at work until 7,8,9 or even 10 o’clock most days to provide sports coaching, get lessons ready, put lesson plans in place.....they really are very good. I was a total f***ing arsehole at school, went round with a massive chip on my shoulder getting upto absolutely outrageous stuff and spending my days wanting to confront authority at every opportunity. They f****d me off at 14 and that was me done, never went near a6 points

I had what I regard a very good fox bitch nearly 20 years ago.Speed enough to catch winter foxes off decent slips and plenty game enough.Id say she was a better foxing lurcher than 90%of the so called fox dogs ive witnessed over the years and her best was 4 in a night once and a couple of 3s and to be honest she wasnt getting run on any more foxes that week.Im talking winter foxes not 3/4 grown cubs and lamped on foot and run single handed.4 points

Well went squirrel hunting in the crappie weather and ended up watching a calf birth instead. Set off in icy winds walking the hedgerow as the snow began to fall much commotion as a cow gave birth. But no maternity ward here ,mum promptly cleared off leaving her shivering wet calf in the lurch. Quick call to warn the farmer and I kept watch awaiting mums return and the farmers arrival. Luckily when he got here he " persuaded " mum to accept her calf and using a bit of French herded them into a barn out the snow n wind. An otherwise exciting incident in a dead loss hunt as4 points

Centre spread in the News of the World for getting caught " matching " 14 week old puppies probably qualifies the chap a little bit strange as well !.....and booking him as a bare knuckle boxer of some sort i find pretty amusing the geezer was 7 stone ringing wet !.......certainly wouldnt speak bad of the chap if he,s passed away but id say describing him as " strange " is probably pretty mild.4 points

What people forget though mate is Joshua is NOT an accomplished stand off boxer he is a combination type banger who wants to close you down and trade up....it is totally alien to him to box on the back foot....but he proved if needed he can do it. Fury on the other hand wants to be on the back foot and create space when pressured,he doesnt want to trade up because when he does he gets put on his arse. So the reality is Joshua has proved he can do both.....Fury hasnt......how important that will prove to be who knows.4 points

Today I officially retired my dog Brian from the foxing World. First of all I would like to thank busher for gifting me this fantastic animal all them moons ago .for that I am forever grateful and he knows anything I breed he is welcome to one . Quick story on Brian. Brian started hunting at around 4 months old ,and seem to take to everything in his stride. Not really taking much training in anything he was shown .I initially never got him for earth work ,as we had other terriers for that job.but again he took to bolting Charlie's for fun .he bolted his first fox aged 11 months .,self en3 points

As the buck season starts in April I decided to cull some of the weaker buck rats on my new permission. So we spent an evening in the High seat. Took a few shots to get our eye in then we managed a few before I had to shoot off and pick my son up. Would love to show you a big bag photo but I ain't crawling up on those bin bags and dirty nappies for a trophy photo ? We baited a certain spot up and we will return on Thursday3 points

I don’t need science or google either I was putting that up for the sceptics that won’t believe unless it’s written down. This is a clip of one of my greyhounds smashing a track record and he wasn’t even a sprint dog but I would have bet any money over any distance on him against a whippet.3 points

The thing is mate i wasnt a hellraiser type of kid just stubborn and confrontational but these teachers were actually the types of people you meet later on in life that have to be dealt with or you get trampled over......not just the violence they dished out but the mental torture telling you how useless you are and wont ever amount to anything.... "you'll end up dead or in prison you horrible little shit " aint exactly the people skills needed is it ?.......im sure like you say the rewards come out with what you put in regards actual education but in terms of personalities i,ll never understa3 points

Yeah I've heard that a time or two.....a mongrel from two pedigrees gives you a pedigree mongrel ?. My Mrs is dog mad and meets up with other dog mad fkin idiots, obviously she tells em I'm a pest controller and our dogs are used for ratting etc. So they pounce on me and tell me their dogs working background as they always want 'their little boy' to be used over my bitch. Their prized border that looks crossed with a donkey is always 'from working stock' because it definitely came off a farm and is always digging for mice ?3 points

rabbit walks into a pub and says to the barman, 'Can I have a pint of beer, and a Ham and Cheese Toastie?' The barman is amazed, but gives the rabbit a pint of beer and a ham and cheese toastie. The rabbit drinks the beer and eats the toastie. He then leaves. The following night the rabbit returns and again asks for a pint of beer, and a Ham and Cheese Toastie. The barman, now intrigued by the rabbit and the extra drinkers in the pub, (because word gets round), gives the rabbit the pint and the Toastie. The rabbit consumes them and leaves. The next night, the pub is packed. In walks3 points

Many a man that do foxes week in week out added whippet to there line. If you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense as to why you'd add it. Who wouldn't want a dog to take off faster and turn tighter on a fox..3 points
