  2. I don't see wtf you are all moaning about! We've had to wear masks here on public transport, in shops etc, since the start. Try wearing a fecking mask on a metro platform, when its pushing 34°C. Do you really think it's some crazy government plot because they've got shares or whatever? Ffs use your heads, if you cough, you cover your mouth. This is just making sure everyone is covered. Why you would need the gov to tell you that, fuuck knows. This is common sense? Anyway... We now have to compulsory wear them in the streets too. You see the odd person thinking they're special and

  8. duck walks into a pub and orders a pint of beer and a ham sandwich. The barman looks at him and says, "Hang on! You're a duck." "I see your eyes are working," replies the duck. "And you can talk!" Exclaims the barman. "I see your ears are working, too," says the duck. "Now if you don't mind, can I have my beer and my sandwich please?" "Certainly, sorry about that," says the barman as he pulls the duck's pint. "It's just we don't get many ducks in this pub. What are you doing around this way?" "I'm working on the building site across the road,"

  10. Our working breeds, cattle dogs, kelpies, roo dogs have been around a long time before Facebook lol, as were the men who fine tuned and worked them for the harsh conditions here. You have to bring in other breeds to suit the climate, terrain,or game hunted.

  11. I seriously hope you or yours don't get it because you think you know better than most of the worlds scientists. Evidence from the drop in infection rate from countries who have imposed the rule to wear one and the most obvious of all the common sense of an extra barrier

  12. Massive over simplification imho mate, what it’s saying is “In opening stuff up again there is a good chance this thing will come back savagely” and it’s a measure to moderate that. Theres plenty to be angry about and speak out about, wearing masks isn’t one of them.

  13. Max, I'm loathe to contradict you, as I don't want to be dragged into pointless arguments, but I'd like to give my understanding of the term "Geordie"; The majority of linguists agree that the term describes people from Newcastle, not the wider Tyne & Wear, or the north east in general. The reasoning for this goes back to the Jacobite Uprisings. The whole of the north east, including Sunderland, supported the Jacobites, apart from the city of Newcastle, who supported and fought for George of Hanover, later George the first, and were known as "George's men" or Geordies. My Daughter has worked with patients from the very start and Death is a daily occurrence ,, she says it can be a very bad Death for some and we must try to , avoid it at all costs , she has been a Nurse for more than thirty years and knows what a bad death is so she has advised Me nd Ma to wear a mask when we are out , simple advice that may save you from an unpleasant demise.

  18. Received a call Friday from a farmer saying hundreds of pigeons and crows on the wheat. I thought I would have a look to do some recce for Saturday, there was hundreds but right in the middle of the field on a flat patch. I was set up for 4.30 am with my hide in the middle of the field just off the flat patch. First bird was shot at 5am and last bird shot at 5pm - a 12 hour shift. I was absolutely knackered but well worth it as I shot my PB 229 birds - 175 woodies & 54 jackdaws for 295 shots. Excuse carp pic as couldnt pick all birds and after a 12 hour session wasnt going to display them

  19. The Christian peoples of the Balkan countries honestly and fervently believe they are the saviours and guardians of white, Christian Europe . They have spent centuries battling and turning back the likes of the Mongol Horde, the Arabs, the Ottomans, and they feel aggrieved that the west hasn't supported them when they commit genocide against the minority Muslim populations. And it's not just the Balkans; Hungary has an extreme right wing President who pisses off the EU with his treatment of immigrants, they don't want to hand over their countries when they have fought against it for

  21. Don't get me wrong I believe in the virus as a good mate and a work colleague of two of my uncles died as well as a few more in the village I grew up in. But the last straw that broke the camel's back for me is when we got sent back to work. Like most places they talk a good game, they have even appointed so called a Safety Distance Warden for each site, what a bag of bollocks. I have not seen one gang adhere to the rules given, impossible to do when there's graft to do. I have now gone back to only washing my hands after getting shit on my fingers when wiping my arse.

  22. I no I never took a picture so it never happened, but a couple of weeks back during that really hot weather I had all the windows wide open, I kept hearing rustling noises but every time I looked out saw nothing, it was around 1am so I sat in the window and watched a young vixen run in my front garden and start sniffing round an old telegraph poll that’s in my hedge covered in ivy, she went next doors and back my side several times before she climbed the hedge and got 3/4 the way up the poll, she was after a woodpigeon nest that’s in the ivy near the top, spent about 20 mins trying but could n

Some of the small Mackerel known as Joey's to us were even beaching them selfs. Bigger Mackerel are chasing the small Mackerel. Should have collected the white bait up and had a good feed on them same thing you get in them Tapas Bars. Cheers Arry

  30. There are some amazing places up that end of the country. The Lakes obviously speak for themselves but over your side can be equally as awe inspiring. I took an unintended detour coming back from Scotland once and wound up coming through Berwick and over the tweed, amazing place....it’s just reeks of history. People are by and large very good too, more forthcoming and open to conversation than folks from down my neck of the woods. Anyone with the right manner would find it easy to strike up conversation with a total stranger no problem at all. All that should be cheris

  33. I could spend hours explaining the bitter rivalry between Newcastle and Sunderland, but suffice to say it goes way, way, further back than football. It involves wars including the English Civil War, The Jacobite Uprisings, The granting of coal exporting licences by King Charles, the granting of City Status, and much more. One thing about those Mackems.......they can sure hold a grudge ! LOL ! Cheers.

Stayed until it went dark, went back early hours of the morning rattling the tin I trained them to come to for feeding, nothing. He was later found run over by a car. That day I ordered a mk3m finder and wouldn’t put a ferret to ground without a locator ?

  43. I took the little.17 with me because the hoppers are still hammering the veg patch, none to be seen but the amount of squizzers is crazy, I shot 4 from the same tree one after another, if I’d taken a shotgun I could of easily shot 20 in a short time, maybe it’s time to make a couple of feeders so the kids can have a go at them, I shot something like 70 over the winter and you would think I hadn’t shot 1, they are doing a lot of damage to the trees, not just stripping bark but once the bark is off they are chewing into the timber
