  5. Thats it, the emotional roller coaster of successfully breeding a litter from start to finish has come to a halt. The pups have all left now and gone to working homes and I look forward to hearing about their progress. For me now though it’s all about the bitch I kept and the very reason I bred the litter, onwards and upwards.

I don’t post any hunting trips as rule legal or not ..that’s between me an the dog I don’t need the internet gurus to grade my dogs for me I’m a 100% honest bloke and I’m capable of doing that my self with honesty i know the difference between a good dog and a turd and I prize a tryer master of none as my type I don’t suffer with any insecuritys or need people to give me a pat on the back for any hunting efforts I do occasionally get a bit excited with up an coming pups An post the odd picture with a wabbit or two but that’s as far as it goes once any young dogs up An running I keep everythin

  8. There’s nothing I enjoy more than searching for new earths, and digging them. Nearly every time I go digging, when I’ve already had a dig that morning, I’ll go exploring and I’ll find new ones, 9 times outta 10 you’ll dig in them because there always that far of the beaten track boys never bother going looking for them. I’ve dug with a few terrier men and around our way everyone seem to be doing the same earths, ground or permission to eachother. It pays to get out and search to give the earths a chance and the quarry also. Ideally I’d like to only do the same earths once in a season but it do

  12. There will come a time very soon when this technology is pennies and everyone with an FAC has all of their rifles equiped with it. The difference with this is that the animal doesn't even know it's being hunted, they can't adapt to the shooting pressure, they just get wiped out, I've seen it first hand. It's embarrassingly easy and soon everyone will have it. Like when the technological leap of the motor vehicle was introduced to the white hunters of Africa, I believe the widespread use of image intensifier, thermal and whatever future advancements are to come will be detrimental to the sport.

  14. Remember a couple of them came up to me years ago as i came out the chippie. "Hey scott that jason barr has just taxed our carry out". Poor wee c**ts were near greeting lol. He was a total scumbag always bullying and stealing stuff. I walked over to him and told him strate give them their drink back or ill kick you into paralysis! Few year later he came out the pub and the sasame young team now a bit older booted the shit out him. He lost a good chunk of his ear when one of them beat him around the head with a milk crate haha

  19. Im on facebook and I quite like it. I only go on one pest control group mind, been on a few but they are all for the main either really amateurish and illegal or there are always a few who spend their time picking at posts trying to find fault with what you post. I like THL, its a good mix of hunting/pesty stuff and a nice bit of banter and chat.

  21. I joined this forum in November and the first topic that caught my eye was the bedlngton crosses of the 90s,great topic for me, it seemed to attract good conversation and lads that are happy hunting rabbits but on some threads (topics) this is almost frowned upon! Especially with terriers, for me if someone wants to hunt rabbits exclusively then it’s nothing to do with anyone else,I say let’s see more posts on what you like hunting with your dogs and fxxk the flack you may get.

  23. It’s to do with fish that have cartridge. I sometimes take a dogfish for the table but you gotta bleed it and gut it quickly otherwise the cartridge breaks down and releases ammonia.

  26. Where I live Flake (shark) is the number one selling fish in the chip shops. It is a fantastic eating fish ,never heard it said it smells, or tastes like ammonia, not sure how they are cooking it or if its fresh but I can tell you it is a great eating fish with no bones.

  27. As disappointed as our terriers looked many moons ago when we thought we had the worlds biggest rats to at with the coypu on the Norfolk broads, turned out to be ten times the size but not ten times the foe, the only beaver living wild in the uk that I,ve Seen you could have run up to it and done a drop goal it just sat there grooming itself not bothered by us in any way

  28. There is a woman who seems to be the main Bigfoot person in the uk called Debora something, it's the lack of space for a creature of that size which makes it a no go for me, last time we had the bf discussion there was a British kid parked in a convenient lay-by with nice trainers on claiming he saw a squash and has been looking for it for the last ten years in a woodland covering 11 square miles a cat has a territory of around 150 square miles and the most nomadic cat with a tracking collar on that I know of covers a territory of 400 square miles, large preditors need to keep on moving so as

Until a rabbit place gets drawn out proper. We are going to try two new single holers today .Been deep in a reed bed unnoticed until the farmer got a little overzealous with the hedge cutter and reclaimed a corner of a field by a pond .Two corkers well run and just right for the two youngsters we have on ..

Don't know what is happening in this country but the snowflake brigade are too much lol i wonder do they think that foxes and rabbits should be able to choose what gender they are aswell? they all need a good boot up the hole to waken them up. cracks me up the shit that has to be politically correct nowadays, bring in conscription send them off to a warzone and they can see what isis think of their equality and rights.

  35. Here is the best tip ever go to curry’s and buy a PlayStation or a Xbox you will never go wrong or get bored with it in a couple of years cos there is plenty of games for them,as the hunting game is fecked now because of our top lads driving the fields and just killing for killing sake and leaving it.which has brought the sport to its knees BUT if you get your game console you can do the same and not give a shit like those do.so why go and waste your money on a dog then hang around with the muppets that will educate you in the worst way possible as there is no game around then the dog might ge

  38. Just a word of warning with all this modern technology you can soon shoot out your permission, I tend (unless told other wise) to look at managing numbers rather than a total wipe out to a point were they find it difficult to recover, this way the population can still give you an enjoyable day/night shooting with a few in freezer and keep Mr farmer happy as well.
