Well I made a last minute decision to have a look out and try a little bit of bunny bashing with my young apprentices one being the dog and the other my boy. Before I even left the house one of the apprentices was sound asleep and chose not come but is now up and moaning he wants to go tonight. Thats another story lol. Got to my chosen spot and there was hardly anything to be seen which I could only put down to the fact they were clearing trees off the side of the main road. After 3 fields I decided to head back and try another spot. The 2nd spot producing just 3 rabbits in 4 fields.16 points

I don’t know why but it doesn’t sit well with me when I feel like I’m just taking peoples money and they are not getting what they are paying for, I fixed the fire surround in the caravan, repaired a drinker and cut the mats for the stables for her, I thought “ your paying me anyway so I might as well do a few bits “5 points

Did our yearly trip to the Fraser, was a brutal trip to be fair with it pissing down, cold and windy most of the 4 days we were there. Only had two small salmon and no sturgeon over the first 3 days, but got into fish on the last day fishing the harrison rive. We ended up with a couple of salmon and 4 sturgeon over 6ft on day four, biggest 2 went 7ft 8" and 7ft 3"5 points

As it goes i'm the same, can't sort of sit around and drag it out i got to be busy and any pound no matter what you do is hard earned so i do try to give value for the customers pound. I myself have just fitted a woodburner into a hobit type hut/garden house and stayed behind late this evening for a delivery of the chimney hat so i could set the fire up and the customer just had to light a match when she got back, had a picture and a lovely message sent to me from a very happy lady..It's sometimes the little touches, fare to say.....4 points

You say a hare is a hare lol, you haven’t done much with them then, every hare is different, the difference between a good hare and a bad hare is like a mixi rabbit compared with one of the best athletes in the world, I’ve always said you’ve got to know the dog to know the hare thow because a shit dog will make a poor hare look good3 points

He was a good hard working lad . He'd already travelled around the world for six months , before he came to work with me (and he loved oz ). He was my loader for almost ten years . We used to work together, and train together . One day the manager decided to swap our teams around( and the guy they stuck him with is an asshole) , so he just left , and went self employed( he was already a qualified electrician). He worked really hard , and managed to buy three houses . One day he decided to go travelling again , and met his Polish wife in nz. They both got citizenship in Oz, and he sold one3 points

You’re getting fixated again mate As I said, I’d be far more worried about the Muslim who has REAL power in the country, who holds one of the three Great Offices Of State, our Home Secretary, Shabanah Mahmood You’re getting fixated again mate As I said, I’d be far more worried about the Muslim who wields REAL power, who occupies one of the three Great Offices of State; our Home Secretary Shabanah Mahmood ! At least Yusuf has Farage to temper his aspirations….Mahmood has Starmer who will agree with everything she says so as not to upset the Muslim vote. Just my3 points

No mate, not really a fair assessment. Farage is Leader, Bull is chairman, Tice is vice chairman, Anderson is chief whip. Yosuf is Head of “DOGE”, (department of government efficiency), tasked with finding savings in the councils now run by reform. I think he’s fairly down the pecking order now, and is used as a spokesman simply because he speaks so well on tv , he tore that duplicitous snake Barry Gardener to shreds the other day in a debate. I know you seem to be a bit fixated on Reform, but personally I’d be more worried about our Muslim Home Secretary, Shabanah Mahmood,3 points

Like you said mate most of us are clinging on to that bit of drift wood on hoping for change i personally think it will never happen as Islam is now to far ingrained in UK society like an incurable desiese.3 points

My lads piled a big lump on gold and silver.. he's done very well on stocks over the last 18 months, I've no idea what he's talking about half the time lol He's only 20 and completely different to me at 20, switched right on in a very modest way... he is very excited about his silver pot at the minute though lol3 points

What an absolute national disgrace and an indication of where we are as a country that the maccabi tel aviv fans are not allowed to come to villa park next week shocking this is European football ffs , UEFA make billions on tv rights , they should be paying for increased police presence that game . Talks to find 'way through' Maccabi fans ban - as PM condemns 'wrong decision' NEWS.SKY.COM Police say the decision is based partly on the violent clashes that occurred around the 2024... Unbelievable Richard Holden the sh2 points

i grew up with lurchers, I grew up on the fens ,lincs ,cambs , Norfolk my family travelling from farm to farm to work and farmers back then would blind eye my uncles, brothers and let them run hares , they didn't give any law it was about getting it in the bag ,and I've seen many dogs run hares in January, February on the fens and run few myself but the hares are no different than in Leicestershire, it's just the fens big open land that's the difference2 points

Been the same up here mate the seed and stubble are dry as f**k but still some bits of land where it’s soft enough for a run I’m lucky I’ve got a variety around me. i always run shite tricky land upto November let the good land settle and hares pick up a bit, gives the dog a bit of challenge and build the fitness up2 points

8 of us went out on a charter from Mevagissy last Friday. Had a good day, seen several shoals of tuna quite close, dolphins within a yard of the boat, and we all caught plenty including 3 bass at 3-4lb and the biggest Pollack I've ever seen at 8lb 8oz. Cheers, D.2 points

Funnily enough , my mate met a Polish girl in new Zealand, while they were both travelling around the world. They've moved to australia , got married, had a daughter, and set up a business . They're loving life out there. He's done pretty well for himself for a binman.2 points

I kept a bit of the chicken and leek stew from earlier in the week because Mrs Stav is away with work, so I chucked in some spicy chorizo and it was lovely, I wish I’d gotten some crusty bread to go with it2 points
