I think people have realised we are the font of all knowledge, we know everything, have done everything, they are humbled and intimidated by us ,they know they have nothing to offer in the presence of such greatness! Or just read the words of wisdom from iww & mitre and think ,ill give this a miss !12 points

Take it from a washed up old man who’s been there and done it. If you gonna buy land and you are self employed or earn your living from something unusual make sure you have your ducks in a row tax wise because it’s like a red rag to a bull for those pricks your holding your hand out to be slapped if you have something you don’t want them to see6 points

This is the view across Starehole bay of Bolt head. The plaque at the top of Sharp tor 406 feet. View looking up the Salcombe estuary. Old Life boat going out. Cut back to Overbeck museum. Cheers Arry6 points

Another Cliff walk on the opposite side of the the Salcombe Estuary out to Starehole bay then to the top of Sharptor. Looking back across at the other side where we walk last Thursday. Beautiful flat calm day. This is the lower path about 200 foot above the water. Then a climb up through the valley to get to the top of Sharptor. I will do a second post. Cheers Arry5 points

Drove to the local shop at dusk time to get some baccy and on the way saw a hare with her leveret, the little thing was lets say 1/3 sized and was still being nursed and i stopped to watch it, lost on the view for a bit and sort of brought out of it by a set of headlights pulling up behind me. Little rural road and maybe someone i know, a copper gets out of a ranger and asks what i'm doing?,i replied "watching old Sally nursing her leveret", "who and what"? he replied ..I told him to just fcuk off and ignored him but he carried on and i had to bite and gave him the what's he doing being a rur4 points

most breeds in the right hands can become incredibly clever ,the lurcher is famed for being clever ? lads today think clever is jumping long nets ,holding a rabbit ,or bringing back to hand ,or catching 3 out of 3 FFS all them things any lurcher should do and they nothing clever about it , When I was a kid my family would travel from the Lincolnshire fens to Hereford for the apple, hop ,pear harvest and they would be more travelling people in Herefordshire than I've ever seen in my life ,most had lurchers ,terriers and some of these families had curs like you read about in the old poaching4 points

My source is Wiki. It may not have been updated. It didn't mention today's story in The Guardian that he was to face no charges in Britain. There was another story in the Guardian just before the first election. A woman claimed she was raped by Trump when she was 12 years old. She started legal proceedings but suddenly and inexplicably retracted her statement. One of Trump's former wives claimed she too had been raped by Trump. But she too withdrew her statement. ???? I'm not against a man shagging. That's up to them. But I do recoil at rape and paedophilia. It baffles me why the3 points

I’m not particularly filled with a need to seek justice for the girls, to fight the elite, or for that matter to indulge in ‘conspiracies’… however the Epstein story absolutely stinks! Having watched and listened to various bits on it I lean towards believing that he was exceptionally good at manipulating people to his own ends. I think he created a socially elite circle that many of the worlds rich and powerful wanted to be a part of. Naturally it was the circle to be in if you wanted to achieve ultra high level business or social success. And then I think he did what many men in history3 points

A keeper pal of mine has a mali bitch and he uses it around the shoot and for picking up a bit, he's a channel on you tube called Paddy's POV and there's film of it on there..Sensible thing until it sees a fox then it's in it's own world, ....3 points

Those little 1/3 grown can run mate for their size …. Well they gave mcs dogs the runaround on Sunday anyways lol2 points

I know how remote it is,I will be up that general area on Sunday.Theres acreage of similar size within a mile or so of the road with argocat tracks and cabins on them for a few quid more,90% of the countries population live within 100 miles of the USA border, that leaves a lot of country with cheap land.2 points

Afterthought, and a bit of self congratulation. Despite growing up in a house where domestic violence was common, I've never hit my wife or my kids ever. And I always put food and goodies on the table to the best of my ability.I also never played away. I've seen how devastating that is for all concerned. That's a choice people proper bloke's make. All this bull crap about raping, choking and f****n women up the arse is literally beyond my understanding. We're going back to f****n caveman days in terms of sexual morality. All normalised by Trump Tate and McGregor. No amount of dis2 points

Many moons ago as a young single man I would regularly go for a shine around the golf course behind my house after work for a few bunny,s then cut through the allotments on my way home, never make a mess or be greedy but a couple of spuds from one row a few carrots from another an onion and a bit of anything else in season then back home to put the stew on, never found it hard work at all, apart from jumping over the gate ???2 points

Seriously now if you want the best chance of the pups turning out into decent all rounders a well bred coursing dog is the only way to go in my mind1 point

Can you ?, lucky I’m not like that and judging you that way isn’t it. And look, when it comes to Epstein I’ll tell everyone a more logical theory as to why those people were on that island. JE was in finance, he was obviously a major networker, the people he gathered around him were also mega wealthy…..so what do you do?….you say “Here, get on my private jet and come and have a holiday on my island” and while they are there you casually mention some latest fund you are managing and wouldn’t They like to drop a 100 million in it because the King of Botswana and John Travolta just did1 point

I watched a documentary about Russian prisons ,they used mali types when they was moving inmates around the jail and they had the big Caucasian shepherds ,fcuk they look like bears, takes two men to hold them , imagine one of them grabbing hold of you,1 point

The breeder we used for the stud dog was saying that most police dogs spend 10 hours a day in a box in the back of a car so they don't need any fancy working lines just a loud dog with a good off switch, he had some malis cross shepherd's that looked nice but he sed was hard work, he was an interesting bloke was explaining what different forces want in a dog etc and how they test them1 point
