  7. Recently work has been constant. The last couple off weeks I've dwelled on grabbing the pop up and the dog and taking off for a night. I decided last week yesterday was the day however in Scotland for just about everywhere rain was on the agenda. I thought never the less I'm still going I will change direction and followed the weather forecast. Finished at 3 got home and took off . I had some wind and a couple off small showers but other than that. We could say pitched perfect

  12. I’ve said to GM that I’m sceptical, as I’ve walked the land day and night, been out countless times with hounds and never had a glimpse of a wild cat, but I’ve also hunted some wild places in Scotland and have never seen a Scottish Wild Cat, or a pine marten ! So while I’m sceptical, I keep an open mind. It’s indisputable that big cats were released/escaped, but I doubt there are breeding populations……but I’d love to be proved wrong ! Cheers.

  14. You don't believe, he does. You can't prove your belief and neither can he. So you resort to childish, petty insults. As for debate, that is usually between intelligent adults with differing views so that's you out of it.

  16. My first trip of the season to the mill stream . Tackle was a cane fly rod chopped into a 7foot, five piece travel rod and a little Dyna Flite reel with 3lb line. I wasn't expecting much more than a few gudgeon. I didn't catch any gudgeon ; my mate had a few though. My score was a couple of eels , little rudd and perch and a welcome tench. Biggest fun raisers were a couple of surprise jack pike . The biggest was a lanky thing that should've weighed more than it did but gave me quite a run- around on the light tackle.

  18. Spent the weekend fishing over in Gaeltacht area in West Ireland. Camped two nights, fished a local pier and blanked on the Fri night had a charter booked from Innis Mór island on the Saturday. We all had plenty of fish to the feathers and I got a nice pollack to a jig head on the light spinning rod which was good fun. My young lad got biggest fish of the day. Threw plenty back and could've had lots more if we kept going with the feathers but we'd enough maks got to fill the freezer with bait for a good while. Great weekend.

  20. Hes amazing at what he does , the word troll doesn't do him justice Lets forget the "is there cats or not" discussion. Greyman is adamant in his own mind what hes seen and spends free time trying to get evidence I see zero problem in that , hurts nobody at all . People dont agree and that's fine that's everybody's right Since the start of the original thread hes been called all sorts , when that's brought up its always " he started it first etc etc" and its so long ago I dont even remember the beggining of all the arguing tbh Theirs loads of angles that greb comes at h

In all years I been out an about with mutts or rods in the country side iv only ever saw one thing I couldn’t explain, still can’t, luckily enough the few lads I would have told about it, where all with me at the time, none of us claimed to know what it was, but all agreed it wasn’t anything we had saw before, an we had saw the likely culprits time after time so we wasn’t no strangers to critters in the dark been out countless times with hounds an stuff, all over the dales an a fair bit of lakes an stuff an never saw nowt j couldn’t explain, but spoke to folk on those outings who s

  29. By the way, I never said anyone DWARFED George foreman, that's just you, twisting words AGAIN, you always do that to try to prove a point or try to belittle someone, you're well known for it on here, you silly twat. Greb and Gooey. One reads too many books, one isn't able to. . And by the way, greb, George foreman was 15 stone and 4lbs for his first fight with Ali, so, no, he wasn't exactly BIG. And Gooey, yes, alvarez has achieved a lot in boxing, but he has ducked fighters that he should've fought, and continues to do so.

  38. Lads, I’m picking up a Peugeot Partner Tepee this week, a kind of early retirement present for myself (I’ve flogged my shares), and rather than scroll through every page here looking, has anyone got or had one and used it for sleeping in? I’m hoping to be doing some travelling around and using the car to sleep in when I finally retire in a few months time so any tips/help in gear etc will be gratefully received, thanks C

Got back to motor an was gonna call it a night when all of a sudden a Fcuking big owl flew past the headlights of the car, none of us where in the car we was all taking out boots off, an one the lads instantly knew what it was. Yes all very interesting mate...and for many years I thought the same....Big cats in Britain...load of bollox however in more recent years I'm more on the fence...the reason being is anecdotal evidence....when I've got people telling you they have seen one....and I don't just mean Karen from down the street but real countryman who've seen them....then I think maybe... Now it clear you don't like Greyman....but why would he lie....like the rest of us on here he's one of us....most of us on here are similar ages with similar views..we're all countrymen...not just him though...one chap I kno
