  1. Like father, like son..the similarities are there, the apple never falls far from the tree as they say, 12 year's the age difference but the young gun is looking very much like his sire.

  2. When it comes to homelessness wether that be soldiers or not, I think it’s accurate to say for SOME it’s a life choice…..wether that be choosing to be homeless or a succession of bad choices that lead to homelessness (drink, drugs, gambling etc etc) But I also think a lot of these conversations about subjects such as this are done out of context…..as in, they are opinions formed at some point 20 years ago or more. We have always had tramps (as they used to be called) but never like you see now……something more has happened. I don’t think it reasonable to say tens of thousands ar

  8. I well remember nutritious, wholesome meals made with cheap cuts of meat like lamb lap or ribs, ham shank, belly pork, ( yes, it was a cheap cut at one time !) scrag end, neck end, oxtail, etc. Not long ago I asked the butcher if he had any lamb lap or scrag end; he didn’t know what I was talking about, now lamb lap is “ rolled breast”, and scrag end is “neck joint or neck chops”. Rabbit used to be a cheap meat, not now, last ones I saw in a butchers were £11 each ! Chicken is still relatively cheap and a chicken stew made in the slow cooker is a great meal, as is ham broth.

  16. If your doing any sort of graft in a decent rain then nowt compares to kaiwaka if you ask me, I always rate my gear by asking myself, would I replace it if it broke today. An my answer to the kaiwaka’s, I already got a second pair jist incase, don’t fancy been stuck without them haha

  17. Kaiwaka and beta craft can get bib and brace or normal trousers, probably a little more expensive than the norm but you get what you pay for and they will last you several years rather than getting a new pair every year

  18. That just reminded me of the aftermath of the Gulf wars. When the British and Americans pulled out they left behind an unbelievable amount of kit. We managed to get hold of a container of British RatPacks and one of American MRE’s. The British meals were, in my mind , far superior to the Yanks. One item was incredibly popular with us was the tins of Bacon Grill, usually unobtainable in the Middle East for obvious reasons, and commanded a big premium if it was sold, but me and the family lived for months off the stuff ! LOL ! Cheers.

  24. 2 of my favourite meals that my missus cooks are Caribbean neck of lamb soup and Oxtail with butterbeans.Like she says they were cheap cuts back in the 70s and 80s.Now the price of them along with decent goat meat has gone through the roof since it's all become very trendy.

  25. Just keep using them and don't forget if you get a rabbit to let the ferrets rag it while its still warm. They should go for the base of the ears and neck, shake the dead rabbit around to wind the ferrets up. Just keep at it its all a learning curve for you and your young ferrets. Cheers Arry

  26. Ferrets don’t realy start proper graft till there second season, saw some that didn’t show any interest at al first season turn into crackers, an saw some that started straight out the nest but I don’t hold much hope till there second season to be fair. could be either they ain’t dropping down deep enough, the warren too big an needs more ferrets to get the rabbits to panic, or I know a few spots up dales that look amazing, lamp them at night an they are lifting with bunnies, go back to ferret them an you get hardly anything if anything, an the rabbits are in the surrounding smaller

  34. It's all numbers on a screen or spreadsheet. Same as 90% of banking nowadays. Cash is king and when it all collapses I would rather have 10k in cash at home than 50k in crypto or banking app. Ultimately at some point it is all guna collapse and only the man with skill will trade with another skill.........like the olden days. This is what I have been preparing for. Get ready.

Fortunately the tablets I take to reduce the production of potassium (which my body does in excess for some reason) are still working and the little darlings haven't grown over the last year. However, when I mentioned in passing that I'm a BRCA1 gene carrier, he looked at his screen a little puzzled and asked what my GP had done as a follow-up to my PSA test this year. When I replied that nothing had been done other than a call to say it was at a normal level he looked a bit shocked. Turns out it was slightly high and that, coupled

So whilst people are struggling to afford to put their heating on or buy food ex service men laying in the streets homeless etc etc we have ILLEGAL immigrants of fighting aged men get housed in nice warm hotels with food in their belly's daily free of charge at the expense of the tax payers money but as you say that would be pretty far down their priorities. could you give us mere normal working class tax payers a clue on what would be high up on their list of priorities from your own personal opinion ? because from where the common
