Just been watching a Dean Macey thing on You tube the Scotland tour. Pretty good actually. They went after common skate near Oban, similar place to where we went couple year back. Unreal, for the normal fisherman I would recommend getting up there for a trip. This for me is the UK equivalent of a massive Ebro cat, Canadian Sturgeon or Thailand Aripayma but affordable. Obviously take a risk with weather but it is so sheltered up there in them bays that you should get our. We went for a few night, couple days fishing, all caught massive fish. My two biggest were 217 and 204.....15 points

Bridgwater, its why we moved down that way and looking like they will be moving in with us for a bit now. In all fairness Im not sure its migrants going to be moving in on this one think its a divorce settlement issue but the shortage is definitely down to "over crowding" in the area. Latest figures show there are just 267 council houses available in the whole of the Sedgemoor area and the local Holiday inn and care home are now housing over 450 illegals. You don't need to be a mathematical genius to work out what shit storm we are walking into.6 points

I was walking round the local estate recently and saw a green budgie in the woods interacting with a load of other small British birds quite naturally ,saw a pair of macaws flying free in Blaise castle woods as a kid looked quite impressive in flight think the polecats we are all seeing are bred and released like the otters though otters are now a self sustaining population seems the people behind this rewilding caper have now moved onto pine martinis so should be seeing lots of them sunning themselves on the side of roads this year got this beaver about 25mile from were I live no official re6 points

I've got to agree with Mchull that the past 10 years have been marginally better than the previous 10 years...that Klitcscho era seems like a distant bad dream, surely the time between 2004 and 2014 must be the worst in history... Regards everything else, of course the 70s is head and shoulders above, before my time but I've tried to watch as much of that era as possible .. remember the late 80s and 90s well, and for me that's the best in my lifetime... I don't think any of the current mob would stand with half of the 70s or 90s champions or contenders...5 points

To answer shaaark question a bit better. The saluki coursing bred dogs on bigger game typical behaviour is: Don't connect and keep hold because they dislike any rough and tumble which is inevitable with bucks, its like " I'm a diva no way I'm touching that I may break a nail or get dirty " even with bucks that make a mistake they are not willing to get in and try and keep them down. Starting off quite up for it but soon realise it can get very rough and throw the towel in and refuse to run, a quite common trait is they turn into pushers and pretend to be doing the job but have n5 points

Its generally accepted that the 70's were by far the greatest era in heavyweight history greats like Ali,Foreman,Frazier,Holmes all in their primes with a willingness to fight each other....with " opponent " types like Bonavena,Mathis,Terrell,Quarry,Norton,Ellis,Shavers,Young,Lyle who on any given night would have given all of todays heavies a run for their money.....in terms of " eras " todays in an embarrassment compared to the 70's !....probably even the 90's as well of Holyfield,Lewis,Tyson who all fought each other backed up by decent " opponents " like Bowe,Moorer,Mercer,Foreman,Ruddock,4 points

I watch a bloke called Peter Santanello on YouTube, he tours America just doing films of different places. Watched one last night and he was going around Chicago with a retired police officer. The bit that stood out is that all of their problems are exactly the same and every bit as bad as our problems…….this got me to thinking, when a situation on the other side of the world so closely mirrors your own you can only assume that it’s deliberate by western politicians. When they head off on these cosy little jolly ups to Davos and such like a bloke like me can only conclude that t4 points

Funny you mention that St Johns lane near the centre was called Kebab alley by the locals when we moved in its now had its name changed to flip flop alley. We moved there a little over 3 years its changed massively in that short period of time we are right on the outskirts so we only notice it when we venture into the town. Thanks mate appreciate the thought. We just got the house to where we want it and now we may have to have them move in, like you though I wouldn't have it any other way.3 points

As with most crosses it really depends on how they’re thrown - with some being more “bull” or “sighthound” forward than others. IME - the phenotypical expression is a pretty good indicator as to how they navigate the world. It’s why I see some more bull forward pups starting “earlier” than some of the more sighthound oriented ones. Just comes down to handler IQ. a few pics of the littermates between 9-10mo showing variation in type. I’d say as a whole - this litter should average 27” but wouldn’t be surprised if that fawn male with the black collar at the bottom gets a bit taller.3 points

They want to be ashamed of themselves. You know what to do to that property once there out. Makesure no migrant gets a hold of it. This should be happening to any landlord that kicks decent british citizens out.2 points

There was a prick on the TV the other day, he'd got 2 migrants living in his rental property, us paying the bill and giving him rent. For some reason they were stopping the rent payments so his pet migrants were going to be homeless. These two migrants had had two young kids and was pregnant with another. This lefty landlord was over the moon that these two 'felt so comfortable in Britain they have decided to start a family'. And now Britain is letting them down..... There is a vein of insanity runs through the political left2 points
