Well beautiful day out for a mooch as the weather is changing to wind and rain again. Charlie was sneaking up the side of a wood so knelt down and gave him a squeak can up to 20 feet away. Cheers Arry9 points

Not the best head gear on this buck but he was a big animal and the tracking action was great I remember it like it was last night and it was over a decade ago in the 2009 rut if I remember correctly. Two dogs went out after him Maurice and Bess(half x bull). Maurice was a young dog still learning his trade at this point in time, he got distracted by a few doe's running across in front as he was running down the beam to get on the buck he took off after them, Bess just continued down the beam, Maurice was left to catch up. Bess keeping focus on the job in hand went straight down the beam and g5 points

If enough people vote for someone else they get in, period. More importantly, if nobody votes for Labour or Tory they don’t get in….and that’s the really important thing. They don’t have to form a whole government, they just have to keep the main party candidates out. Doing the same and expecting different is wasting a vote imho, but that’s just my opinion mate. People talk like the country has only existed for the term of the previous party in power, it hasn’t ! Its only ever been Labour or Tory since the war, and this is where we are at ! They both have ha5 points

Politically you are very naive pal. I think your attitude and belief sums up why politicians get away with what they do. Sorry5 points

Reading an African hunting forum. (At some point in the next 10 years I want to hunt Africa. Definitely wearing a pith helmet) Someone had visited nyeri cemetery and had posted some interesting gravestones. Jim Corbett of man eater hunting fame. Along with Baden Powell of the scout movement. I didn't realise they were buried in the same grave yard. And another one the inscription of which reads HEBEN CARPENTER, OF OKEHAMPTON DEVON, BORN 3RD DEC 1901, KILLED BY A RHINO 14th JAN 19354 points

I have to be honest and say I don’t believe a word of that. Suggesting that if Trump wins it emboldens Putin ?……peace was breaking out all over the show under Trump. My first thought is, who is pulling that old boys strings and who is funding him. Senior military men touting the prospect of war to secure the future of the military is nothing new either mate. Baltic states saying we need to invest in them more, what they mean is “Let’s tell them daft c**ts to transfer a load of money to us seeing as they are giving it away” Im not saying there’s not going to be a war b4 points

Just my tuppence worth regarding the big beasts & how my dog's dealt with them,It wasn't always possible for a dog to get one over & just hold it steady in a throat hold, some of them big boys have necks much wider than what you could wrap your arm around & a dog would be pretty ineffective attached to it in most cases or at least that's how I found things with my curs,I found that my dog's were extremely hard on them wherever they grabbed them, once they had 'disabled' them & prevented them from going anywhere then they proceeded to move to the head end, this was daytime & th4 points

Well today was collection day and I am very happy with the quantity and hopefully quality of produce! I kept ablut 1.25. Had already swapped half a pig for a full lamb before Xmas and gave a decent meat box to neighbour that helped me move em to abbottoir. I don't think I will be going to Asda for sausages, bacon or pork joint any time soon!3 points

His gravestone bears a circle with a dot in the center, "ʘ", which is the trail sign for "Going home", or "I have gone home".[3 points

Times have changed mate people are more aware then you think I go to a garage to get fuel and a bottle of lucazade I get more moody looks then black neck gets when he drops his bat in his house, there's anpr cameras that watch for regs going up and down the motor way coming out of 1 area into another the possibilities are endless mate3 points

The one thing that I never enjoyed was driving motorways and the hundreds of miles I had to put in, not so bad on the way there with the adrenaline/excitement of what is coming. Pulling onto the motorway at six in the morning after a long night with a few hundred + mile to get home no adrenaline to keep you awake anymore, trying not to fall asleep at the wheel beam me home scotty, ok for the dogs3 points

There's some rose tinted glasses there lol it all depends on how deep you want to scratch I suppose, there's evidence that the kremlin were paying Russians to move into the south resulting in friction by design, its a well known tactic of putin and has been used on many of the surrounding former USSR tinpot states and using banana Republic tactics and rigged elections to get the right people in power in those areas, im not saying Ukraine are any better by the way. I suppose if its good enough for the CIA then it's good enough for Putin lol3 points

Not really viable consistent working terriers though. Those nice working Parson types that you have would not be out of place in a working terrier show. And nothing wrong with that. Good conformation is not a disadvantage to any working dog, breeding purely for conformation and rosettes is. But people like shiny things.2 points
