I threw my leg across them all except one ( she was rough as all hell , and had only been out of prison for a week ). I may have missed the ride of my life , but she was a step too far , even for someone with my notoriously low standards . I worked my way through , smooch , plenty of fish , and match .com .( match .com was far better quality). I came to the conclusion that it was better to hate myself for doing it , than look back and regret not doing it . You know those 18yr olds you turned down when you were 18yrs old , then as a 40year old you look back and realise that she wa4 points

My offering to the lads down the local. Game pies including venison, mallard, pheasant and partridge with all the herbs and spices. As it’s my 70 th shortly I’ll include a reasonable amount of hooch to go with them. The lovely one has booked us all in to holiday chalets in Ashbourne so a really happy start to the New Year.4 points

It would be nice to think that she handed it back for the right reasons, but we all know that she didn't. I doubt it , but we can only hope that her and her cronies , get to stand in front of a jury in the future , and see real justice done.3 points

Saw the advert for it on TV.... didn't know Africans were big into their bird watching, surprised there wasn't a pair of lesbians with binoculars as well3 points

I just like watching birds myself don’t feel the need to register a thing or join a study group all wildlife thrives on neglect the more we try to get involved the more we feck it up, some of my best British spots are a pied fly catcher, red fronted grebe a lamaguire vulture and recently an osprey though at a bit of a distance and we had a long eared owl around for a couple of weeks last year which was nice, the osprey drew in so many twitchers it ruined the area for a couple of weeks3 points

I was happily married for years , life was fantastic , and I never ever glanced at other women . It was only sometime after I'd lost my wife , and wound my mate up on a dating site , that I sort of fell into it , but feck me , once the Cork had popped , that was it , that genie was never going back in the bottle . To be honest , being married to someone you care about is much more satisfying all round. It's easy for me to say that though , because both of my marriages have been very happy . I work with married guys that haven't had sex for years , and don't even like their wives. I cert3 points

Hydrogen needs to be explored far more than it is. Japan is doing well with Hydrogen cars in Japan, and Jim Radcliffe has one in the making. There are other examples of Hydrogen vehicles but they appear to get very little publicity. Electric seems a conspiracy promoted by Governments and lapped up by the gullible. Electric is NOT the saviour of all transport, it has a long way to go in terms of its Green credentials, practicality and of course cost!!! On the face of it Hydrogen has a lot going for it. So why don't we hear more about it???2 points

It’s easy done if your mind wanders I m not a tree surgeon but I did need the finger surgeon after I changed the log splitting head to a cross one , had my thumb protecting my son from a split log flying off the side, my thumb was just over top of log. I did nt feel a thing until my son shouted, cut threw the very bottom of the nail, bone and almost right the way off. Got it fixed back amazingly.2 points

Mate, exactly the same... you know the real thick kid on the estate...whole family got something missing, but he is another level...well that unfortunate kid was sat out on a branch sawing beside himself the trunk side...me and my brother stood and watched...to mean/curious or down right little fuckers to stop him... the inevitable crashing to the ground through the branches below was great though, like when the chimps have a fight on an Attenborough programme and one gets launched out of the tree.... lol2 points

This thread has made me remember the ring collectors that I've known . The first one is a bloke I work with . He has about a dozen engagement rings in his bedside drawer . All of them came from argos , and the only one that cost more than £25.00 , is the one that his girlfriend lent him £600 to buy . He spent £60.00 on her ring , and blew the rest in the pub. The second one , was a woman that I met through a dating site , when I was going through my slag phase. This woman was completely nuts , and I met her with the full knowledge that she was bat crap crazy ,BUT , she was absolutely2 points

Weddings and occasions in general can be a funny old thing. Im a bit of a strange one (surprise !) in that I have always struggled a bit with these “collective fun/celebration” type things. Also, when you get a few kids wrapped round you it’s an arm and a leg to get anywhere and stay anywhere plus logistics if they are very young. I have friends who I genuinely class as family who never judged me or batted an eyelid when we couldn’t make their wedding and I have family who have never spoken to us since after we didn’t go to their wedding 5 years ago ! Some folks you know it’s2 points
