  1. Pets cos I'm in sheltered accomodation, but I've mentioned this before, there's a lady upstairs gets permission to have her friends two dogs occasionally , well.she had em.for the weekend ,one of is a wee little thing chihuahua cross or summat, anyways it makes it way down the stairs and into my flat, my front door is always open, so.in it comes, I can't begin.to.describe how the little chap.lifts me, it gives me a lick on the chops , then beds down on my settee

  2. There's a reason for this and it's intentional and if anyone thinks it's a humanitarian reason they really need their head examined. I genuinely wonder how the IQ in this country (and others) could have plummeted so rapidly in such a short space of time that people believe the pish they are being fed.

  4. Mate make sure you get plenty of interim payments and don’t let the blokes credit get to high, I would have told him to f**k off when he came back to you as he is only interested in money and not you or your work so is more likey to try and wriggle out of paying you at the end have had 40 years dealing with people and that’s an early red flag mate ?

  8. Just out of curiosity, for people keeping chickens over there in the UK , are chicken tractors popular or even a thing ? Was discussing this design for my new build ( usually build hoop styles but with the cost of metal and got curious about building one out of wood and A frames seem the easiest) Btw for thos who don't know chick tractors after basically just portable enclosures commonly used by people with small properties and alternative agriculture types. You just pick them up and move them every few days so they get fresh grass and stuff. Loved mine because I don't have a stinking ch

  10. They have always believed in what they were told. They once marched into machine gun fire for 'freedom and democracy' without even asking how their freedom was threatened. Maybe it's a human trait to survive by following the leader, even when they can see their leader is cheating them. Personally I see the latest form of consumption to be the consumption of debt. The flooding of towns and cities with migrants pushes the residents out to new build houses with mortgages and electric car finance. That's the only product we are now, really, needed to consume. What once made Britain suc

  14. Bit nostalgic for me today walking of Bolberry Down, cliffs I used to climb down using 200 foot of rope to fish. The Best Ray marks in the country for Blonde Ray, Small Eyed and Spotted Ray. The nearest point is a mark me and two mates pioneered back in 1980, one hell of a mark for Ray. This picture taken from the other direction with a ships boiler. Massive prawns in that boiler as you can walk around it on a spring tide. The middle point is where the British record Blonde Ray comes from. The lads in my club used to swim across a gully to get to it. Was k

  16. We’ve had the money chat, and I’ve set my stall out, I’ve told him what I want, I won’t charge any more if it runs over or less if I finish early ( not much chance of that) I don’t want to come across as Ronnie Kray but he will pay me when I finish, I’ve never had anyone not pay or get money off, if we have an agreement that’s what it is, I wouldn’t ask for more so they can’t ask for less

  17. We don’t pay water charges here. They tried to bring in water charging when I first moved here and almost to a man, the whole country told them to shove their bills up their arse and didn’t pay…..so they had to scrap it. The argument is, it falls out the f***ing sky almost constantly and government get more than enough money off people for everything else so they can provide a civilised country with water to drink ! What’s naive and not a little self defeating is people keep thinking they have no power over these things.

  18. Who pays for the pumping stations, the pipe lines, the sewage systems the drainage systems, the purification systems , etc ? If we want to drink from muddy puddles like the niggers, then it would be free. Of course we shouldn’t have sold off our water companies to foreign hedge funds but to think potable drinking water should be supplied to our homes free of charge is naive. Cheers.

  26. Your not wrong, I worked as a mechanic for 25 years and never once had anyone turn up without the money to collect their motor on the other hand my twin brother has a dry lining company and when we were younger the amount of people that wouldn’t pay was ridiculous, we spent a lot of time visiting people at home or on sites, it was always private builds or small building companies, most of them were because he was young and they thought they could take the piss, now he mainly does commercial because they are on a 14 day account so you know you will get paid or the bill goes up and we are gettin

  30. Booster vaccination with an mRNA vaccine was highly protective against hospitalisation and death in omicron cases (HR for hospital admission 8–11 weeks post-booster vs unvaccinated: 0·22 [0·20–0·24]), with the protection afforded after a booster not being affected by the vaccine used for doses 1 and 2. from Just a moment... WWW.THELANCET.COM part of your problem is your getting mixed up between omicron and delta.

  31. Bang on mate... its take it or leave it on my prices, I know our worth now, if you do a decent job you should be paid the right money. There's no other industry where you get f****d about for money like the building game, long payment terms are a thing of the past for me, been bit a couple of times, its almost like people dont see it as real money..

  32. In the UK, Hatsan are not an expensive gun in fact they are very much an economy based gun and not worth messing about with. It would be cheaper and much more effective to simply buy another Hatsan in .22 as the task would need good gunsmith to carry out the work, just not worth the expense. Phil
