Nice pint (should of taken a pic before drinking it) and Greek kebab thing. Local farm has a bar onsite and a Greek bloke knocking out BBQ food. Went search the banks of a local reservoir for treasure. Found some big mussels and a Roman coffee grinder.

I’ve got 2 black dog pups here that are free to good working homes. It was an unplanned mating which happened whilst I was on holiday so I’m not keeping one myself. All nice fat healthy pups and will make cracking rat and rabbit dogs. Ideally I would like them to go to a youngster starting out as they will be a nice size for a kid to handle. Obviously they won’t be going to any knob heads so don’t bother trying to get one to peddle on. I will put some pics up tomorrow but they will end up looking like the father ……

Had a cracking morning. Got in position before light. The wind was bad and had me pinned down so it was a stand still for a few hours. Although I saw no fallow I was gifted with grunting in the wood probably not 100yards away. Later I moved off and went to the other end of the property. What superb offer of a great type of proper working dog. Far better than a keen young person getting a massive bull cross or coursing bred dog and believing the hype and becoming disillusioned by not getting enough "in front of it", or a full terrier and thinking they must be digging 20+ a season, as they have been told that's what everyone else does. Having said that, I would be only too happy to try and deny a young person one of those pups if it was feasible for me to give one a home.

Little 'un asked to go to this place for dinner today. It's only a couple of miles away and, it's been a while since we last went there. It's quite nice to be fair. It's a big place, out the way by a lake. They show you to a table and take your drinks order, you go and get your own food - there's always lots of choice and, they keep cooking it fresh and bringing it out
